We booked a superior room, but on arrival we were given a normal room. As soon as we realized this we asked for an exchange, however the receptionist, who spoke poorly in English, told us he didn't know how to help us and to wait until the next day to speak to the manager. The following morning we received a call from the hotel manager at 8.30AM (without any respect, since at that time we could still sleep) telling us that they would make the change in the morning. So we went to the reception and the manager, without apologizing for what happened, told us that the room would only be ready when we returned in the afternoon. We then asked for the difference between the superior and normal room for the first night to be refunded and in a grumpy manner she told us to contact the platform we booked on. Apart from that, the superior room was uncomfortable because it was on two floors and you had to go down to the bathroom via a very small spiral staircase. The breakfast was good, but the variety was limited and slowly replenished. A waiting line often formed as the number of tables was insufficient compared to the number of rooms. The only positive note: the location of the hotel, close to the metro and well connected to the centre.

The property was conviently located for public transportation. There were plenty of places to eat within walking distance.
The carpet in my room was shredded in one area. The furniture, old and torn up. The bed was comfortable and an extra blanket was available.
Delayed check in. I informed in advance under disabilities/special assistance that I was traveling with my service animal. This apparently wasnt noted on my file, and the man working the desk had me wait 10 minutes while he tried to get someone on the phone. He then said "he was accepting the risk." Im not sure what risk there is to take with a service animal.
My key card stopped working on my second day. When I went to get it fixed, the man (same guy) at the desk accused me of using my credit card instead of the key card.🙄 The key card was in my hand. He was able to fix the issue.
The same worker was unable to acquire me a taxi for my departure. I had no issues with any other hotels or restaurants in acquiring a cab. I had no issues getting a cab myself throughout the city.

Dear Guest,Thank you for your comment and your stay, that help us to improve our service. There is no risk in accepting a service dog, we just had to call the direction in order to inform it. Concerning the keys, there is a misunderstanding: what we usually say to guests is that if you ever put a card for opening the door beside a credit card, the first card can be temporally demignetised. We work with external taxi driver that aren't part of the company. Sadly the taxi driver at the phone didn't accept the run anymore because he didn't want a dog in the car. He has not the right to do it, and this kind of behaviour is a problem for the hotel and for the guest. Anyway, this behaviour doesn't depend on the hotel and it should be condemned and communicated to the company, that we dodn't. We are deeply sorry for the misunderstanfing anyway and happy that you found a good solution. Best regards
