When we tried to check in the hotel owner wanted us to cancel the reservation to get the money refunded, and pay in cash instead. He claimed he never got payed by hotels.com or its affiliated sites. It was very uncomfortable and we felt very pressured in the moment. - when we stayed firm on that ether we stay with the original payment via hotels.com or we find suitable accommodation elsewhere his attitude changed and he would ā€œlet us stay the night and figure it out the next day.ā€ After getting to our room we contacted hotels.com support who contacted the hotel directly to fix the ā€œaccounting issueā€. We never heard from the hotel owner for the reminder of the stay, and checked out with no hassle. the hotel itself is quite central, not too far walk from king street. The rooms were clean and the standard was all right. There were some small issues here and there that needed maintenance like a bathroom fan that made a very unpleasant screaming noise when on. The tv only had Hungarian channels.

RĆ©ception soit disant ouverte jusqu'Ć  20h mais fermĆ©e Ć  notre arrivĆ©e Ć  19h55. Personne ne rĆ©pondait aux 2 numĆ©ros de tĆ©lĆ©phones affichĆ©s sur la porte. Nous avons rĆ©ussi Ć  entrer dans l'hĆ“tel grĆ¢ce Ć  des hĆ“tes et trouvĆ© notre clef posĆ©e sur la banque d'accueil. L'un des 2 lits de la twin Ć©tait dĆ©pourvu de draps et la housse de matelas Ć©tait tachĆ©e de sang. Le robinet du lavabo Ć©tait trĆØs difficile Ć  manipuler et fuyait. Pas de savon ni shampoing Ć  disposition dans la salle de bain. Nous avons attendu la rĆ©ceptionniste prĆØs de deux heures le lendemain matin. Nous avons obtenu (pĆ©niblement) de changer de chambre. La moquette n'avait pas Ć©tĆ© nettoyĆ©e (ni avant, ni pendant notre sĆ©jour). Le rideau de la baignoire menaƧait de tomber. Le robinet Ć©tait en piteux Ć©tat Ć©galement. Les toilettes Ć©taient bancales. Un reste de bouteille Ć©tait oubliĆ© sur la table de chambre... non nettoyĆ©e par le personnel de mĆ©nage. Le mur de la salle de bain (prĆØs du lavabo) montrait plusieurs traces de dentifrice/savon (pas de nettoyage depuis un certain temps) et le mobilier gonflĆ© par l'humiditĆ©. Les serviettes blanches sont Ć©limĆ©es et certaines tachĆ©es. Le dĆ©part Ć  Ć©tĆ© compliquĆ© : nous avions payĆ© sur Hotels.com lors de la rĆ©servation mais l'hĆ“tel voulait nous faire payer une 2ĆØme fois et nous proposait de demander le remboursement Ć  Hotels.com. Nous avons du faire intervenir la police. En bref : hĆ“tel laissĆ© Ć  l'abandon et l'honnĆŖtetĆ© n'est pas leur fort. A fuir. 3 Ć©toiles ? 1 max.

Donā€™t go if itā€™s warm because the air conditioner is very poor. Also things were falling apart in the room, like the shower head, toilet and lights. The guy working there was friendly though. Overall definitely not a 3 star hotel, more like 1 or 2.
