The room appeared clean; however, the toilet wasn't flushing very well. We tried to call down to the front desk to report the issue, but the phone didn't work. My husband went down to the front desk to report the problem and was told there was no one in the maintenance department to take care of it and he returned with a plunger. Unfortunately, upon his return with the plunger, his key wouldn't work. My husband complained about the vinyl floor feeling a bit slimy. I wear slippers when inside, so I didn't notice it. The next morning, I wanted to make coffee, the coffee maker didn't work. I reported all of this to the front desk, minus the flooring because I just remembered as I was writing this review. The woman at the front desk apologized and said she would refund me some money on my reservation. She realized that I had booked it through a 3rd party and said she would have to have her manager help her with the refund. I never got a refund.

I had five rooms. All were very damp and musty. The sheets actually felt wet (but were not). A couple rooms actually smelled of mold or mildew. The rest of the hotel was fine, with good staff and a nice complimentary breakfast.

My room smelled like cat pee. I asked for a different room, the first one I tried had a double bed and pull out couch but was hot with water on the floor then the other one I tried smelled like cat pee again. The staff was super nice but didn’t seem to care that the smell of the room was unbearable. I had to get a room at the Hampton Inn so now I’m out almost $400 for a night in Pensacola. After reading more reviews it seems the smell is a known issue and hasn’t/wont be resolved.

Beds were comfortable and the room was in good condition. Due to the really bad humidity outside, the room was a little humid but the AC did a good job keeping up with it. Breakfast we good and good options but need forks instead of sporks (not a big deal but found it odd). ALL staff was friendly and helpful. Good smiles, always good greetings!

The power outtage was out of their hands and the local bbq "pitmasters" ensured i last my appetite. Both things the property had 0 control over so I'll just be frustrated with the immediate area. The hotel staff was as friendly as could be. It's suggested a hotel especially in Florida have generator... the exposures could have taken a very bad turn had anyone of that caliber decided to take advantage of the temp tenants in a few hour lights out situation. Power came on near midnight jolting me from rest and it was a while before upper and lower rooms turned down the new found energy. It was a rough next day. Again...i realize it's all circumstantial so I'll try not to be too judgemental
