House Needs Work
We reported several problems. Only 2 were resolved. The fenced backyard was covered in dogpoop. Directions for electronics were poor. Door knob for bathroom was missing. Rail on front steps rusted out and wobbly. Bath tub was re-fitted claw foot with no grab bars. Slippery and difficult for elderly (us). The temp got down to 30 degrees our first night and there was no blanket for the bed.

Quiet comfortable cottage
My husband and i stayed at the property for 30 days. It was a nice quiet house with a big fenced in yard. It was perfect for our dogs. Even though some houses in the area were a little shabby, there was a good amount of house construction and rehabbing going on. It was easy to walk our dogs in the area and the neighbors were nice. It's an easy drive to downtown shops and restaurants and the beaches. The house is older but has been modernized. The kitchen is stocked with all the pots, pans, utensils, etc. We really enjoyed our stay. A mirror above the sink would have been nice.

The interior was decorated beautifully. In the morning when there was more light we noticed bathtub had not been scrubbed and there was mold on shower curtain. Everything metal in bathroom was rusty…toilet roll holder, rack for towels, toilet bowl brush holder. The shower curtain did not go all around bathtub so when you took a shower it sprayed on wall. The house was very old and the floor shook the whole house when you walked in it, the couch was uncomfortable, the bed was uncomfortable, we left a day early because our shoulders hurt so bad. we paid extra for our two dogs per night. in the backyard we picked up at least 50 piles of dog poop from previous renters. This house appealed to us because of the decor and you could have dogs and supposedly close to the historic district. we like to walk and would have but did not feel safe in neighborhood

Work travel
This house was exactly as listed. Wonderful location from downtown and the beaches. Convenient location for highway access. Was in town for work for a week and I was able to enjoy work and find time for play. Loved the yard for my fur baby and I couldn’t be happier with my stay. Definitely will book again when I’m back in town.

Vacasa rental sucked!!
Clean but very old (105yrs), AC couldn’t cool, door code didn’t work x2, lock box holding key wouldn’t open and representative lied about some compensation (NOT). We left 1day early due to all the problems we had. Vacasa left us very disappointed to say the least.

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!
This property surprised me with how cute, elegant, and beautiful it was. The property owners called us to check on us a couple times to see if we needed anything and were so kind and sweet! We had the best experience and I would highly recommend this property. We felt so comfortable and at home. It was very clean. Very quiet neighborhood that is close to the beach

Very nice!
It was very cutely decorated, and the bed was very comfy. The only thing I would change is putting a bathroom door adjacent to the bedroom as well.. the one door just wasn’t doing it for us

The house is very cute, -- but the white couch and chairs are not the best to keep clean in a rental. The kitchen is not very well stocked - but with a few additions, like a portable dishwasher, pots and pans, and a toaster, it could be fantastic !! There is no check in or check out list, so one does not know what is supposed to be in the house. Overall was fine for us and the dog.

Magical House
I loved this space so much, I wanted to pick up the property and move it to New Orleans to permanently live there. The space is perfect for a couple and very dog-friendly. We walked in the cemetery every day and discovered new historic markers. The large backyard is perfect to play fetch and it is located less than a mile from downtown Pensacola. My only issue was the floodlights in the backyard did not work, so I would suggest bringing a lantern or flashlight for any evening activity in the yard. Vacasa contacted me and made note of the issue. Their customer service was amazing. Overall I am so pleased with the host and the property that we intend on coming back annually. Thank you for a relaxing, well-deserved reprieve.

Reno with Character
We loved how this older bungalow was renovated without destroying its character. The house lacked a dishwasher. It had a Keurig coffee maker but no pods (It had regular coffee packs but they don't work in a Keurig). A storm knocked out power. The TV connection did not reset. The property mgr did not answer her phone and her voicemail box was full. Hence, no TV for 2 nights. The house was very cozy during a tropical storm.

Nice place!
I actually really liked this place. We did have a rocky start with our check in and housekeeping. We asked if we were able to check in early since we were ahead of schedule and they basically said that, due to Covid they would have to clean more. Which is totally fine, but our check in time was at 4 and we showed up at 4:15 with housekeeping STILL cleaning. She didn’t leave until 5 and the place was not clean. We had to spend an hour cleaning and sweeping on our first night. It also did smell like gas when first walking in, but I got used to the smell after a day. I was also unsettled with the cameras on the front and back porch. I wanted to tan on the back porch but didn’t want someone watching me. Idk it might just be me. Also, the neighborhood was not the best. The first day we were there a guy was passing by and asked a bunch of weird questions about the Airbnb and then said “it didn’t always used to look like that.” It was a little concerning, but other than that the people were nice and no one else messed with us during our stay. After the first day, things went better than expected. We decided to look on the bright side and ended up having an awesome stay here. Overall, this place was actually really nice! The bed was comfy, the place was sturdy, and the whole place was just pleasant.

Cute cottage
The cottage is very nicely decorated and well equipped, other than lack of a coffee pot. Cute, cute, cute! It is located about 2 1/2 miles from downtown. Based on description, we thought we would be able to walk downtown, but it is farther than stated and the neighborhood is not conducive to walking. There was a snag at check-in and checkout as the lock box was broken. We had to wait over an hour for a repairman to show up at check-in. other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Disappointed in transparency of listing
The house was cute like the pictures and was clean. We loved having the back yard also. There was a noise in the bathroom like other review mentioned but my husband fixed it. It was the chain in the back of the toilet was too long and was getting caught so he tightened it. The however neighborhood was not the best. The property management also was not easy to get ahold of for quick questions so was a little frustrating but the main issue we had was that after driving 12 hours and thinking it would be a 10 minute drive to the beach, we discovered that the Pensacola Bay bridge was closed and had been for a long time so now it would be a 50 minute drive to get to the beach each day. We felt they should have put that on their listing because we had no reason to look that up or would known to. We looked for other places to stay on the other side after we got there and noticed other places did put that information on their listing. It was quite a disappointment and would not have booked had we known.

Cute But Several Issues
This is my first time using this service and will not do it again. There are several different entities to deal with if there's an issue (email from homeaway, booked with VRBO and dealt with Casa in Pensacola. The house is adorable and decorated so nicely. However, as soon as you walk into the door you are in the dining room and the smell of gas overtakes you. We went out for meets business partners. We returned in the evening to hear loud cranking sounds coming from the bathroom, which is connected to the bedroom. It sounds like there was a pump in the crawl space of the home making noise all night. We moved to the couch. Around midnight we heard snore sso loud we both looked at each other and said it couldn't be the neighbors we hear could it? We went back into the bedroom to hear such an incredibly loud snore coming from under the bedroom. So wild, right? I made 5 calls to VRBO and their subsidiary, Casa, took all of the info regarding my experience. We left early in the am for meetings, spent time calling VRBO to let them know we would have to check out and to kindly return money for the second night, since we could not stay in the property due to the issues. The last person I spoke with said a property manager (Ken did arrive at 3p as we were leaving) would come and if we could be out by 3p , she would arrange for a refund of 1 nights since we had an unfavorable experience. I did not receive an email confirming this. Had to get another hotel and call again to confirm I would receive a credit for one of the nights I paid for. It was so cute and would have stayed but how can VRBO/CASA expect a guest to deal with the gas smell, loud plumbing cranking and snores all night. I guess they would rather lose a customer than just refund one night due to the circumstances. Not good client relations at all. So, I basically paid $409 for one night? I could have been at a resort for that but stayed here because we loved the house and thought it would be a good experience.
