Fire alarm has been has been randomly going off atleast once a week. I have been staying here out of town for 9 weeks and it has happened 5-6 times now. Staff says it’s an engineering issue and don’t seem to worried about it. I sit here writing this as a fire alarm is going off once again. Don’t go here until it’s sorted

Needs some updates, the bathrooms are brutal. Small and very old style. Some of the extra bedding didn’t seem like it had been washed. Staff were wonderful. Good pool hours.

Hair styling tricky, otherwise good place to stay.
Only issue with our stay was although there was a hair dryer supplied in the bathroom there was no plug in to use and no other mirrors in the room although there were plenty of plugins that could have been used. It is hard to use hair styling equipment without a mirror and plugin near to each other.

It is a modest price. And a modest hotel. In a busy tourist & convention city. But the pillows are horrendous. Over-stuffed with foam chips, these huge pillows will give everyone a sore neck. On hearing my request for a replacement, the receptionist said that everyone complains about them, and her best suggestion is to put a pillow UNDER the sheet, so that it gets compressed a little. Ridiculous

The staff is friendly. There is lots of parking. The hotel has a Bar One and Denny's. The room was comfortable for a solo traveller. Walkable to lake and downtown shops and restaurants. Good central location for a stay in Penticton.
