The hotel seemed to be clean and well kept but aged some. Attached restaurant was advertised to be open which was part of the reason we chose to stay here but it was actually closed. Toilet was uncomfortably close to the bathroom counter whcih was very awkward. Key cards wouldn't work on the second night for either room so had to go back to the lobby to get rescanned.

This hotel was really disappointing. It was neither clean nor in good repair. As soon as we checked in, we found a pile of rubble (photo) in the corner of our room. We were moved to a new room. The bathroom floor was stained and dirty as was the mirror and faucet. The closet door was broken. The pool was out of order and all the equipment in the fitness center was broken. Common areas were dirty and in disrepair. The exterior door had a broken latch so using a keycard to enter the building was unnecessary and unsafe. The front desk clerk hung out in the bar in the evening and was barefoot. We come to Morton once a month, we won’t be staying here again.

The hotel is outdated with an effort to update. We ended up with a room next to pool so no outside view. Electrical issues with lighting (no light when you turn on the switch and a sizzling sound), hot water for the shower took forever, and room was very hot! Food was typical hotel brunch food. Beds weren’t comfortable. Coffee was watered down. Staff was friendly and they were quick to clean rooms in the morning.

The property is NOT well-maintained. Bathrooms out of order. Breakfast waffle mix dispenser broken. Tissues gone and not replaced. Shower, mirrors, toilet were all dirty upon arrival. Clogged toilet in room and we had to get a plunger from front desk and do it ourselves instead of them taking care of it. (Thankfully we had 2 rooms next to each other. Outside door was supposed to “locked for safety” and require a room key to enter, but the door was never locked and didn’t even fully latch shut. Location was convenient, but I’d not recommend it.

Convenient location…but desk attendant I think was asleep when we came in. None of the staff were identifiable by uniform or name badge. Whole place was poorly maintained…ice machine out of order on two floors, card lock doors to pool not working, water fountain out of order, grass and landscaping not groomed, stains on bed sheets. Would not stay here again.

Complete garbage. Booked for 4 nights. Upon check in we get to our room to discover extremely dirty and stains on bed sheets. We goto front desk to request another room and she literally said "thats alot of work, we will just hand u a couple new sheets and u can remake the bed" so after that we said we will be checking out and not staying there the other 3 nights. I called 3 days later to ask why i havent got a refund only for the manager tosay that it doesnt look like we ever checked out so they ct issue a refund...i told her the exact dste and time of check out and got told"sorry it doesnt show u checked out on the computer. Complete disrespect to a disabled veteran.

We stayed here for 4 days, plenty to figure out it will be the last time we stay here. Staff was very inconsiderate and don’t speak English as a 2nd language, much less a 1st. The rooms carpet was filthy. The shower would only change temperature if you turned it off and back on again after moving the handle to the desired temperature level. The shower also made a terrible whining noise anytime you turned it on which was loud enough for the neighbors next door to hear. We know this because we could hear theirs. The bathroom floor would flood every time you took a shower, no matter how you tried to situate the curtain. There was also no drain in the bathroom, so the water routinely ran into the carpeted hallway where I imagine you would find all kinds of mold if the carpet was lifted up. The one single ice machine in the building was broken. The Irish Restaurant on the first floor is out of business, now they just use that area for the very bare complimentary breakfast. Will NOT be back to this place, ever.
