Arrive at the secluded seaside Passage Hut overlooking the natural peninsulas of Delaware Bay and the Pepin Island spit, where the ebb and flow of the tide is at your doorstep. Stay in the cosy and quirky private hut with breathtaking views of the ocean and inlet. Take time to enjoy the wild ocean scenery from the balcony, or take a short stroll from the hut to explore the secluded beach, with New Zealand coastal wildlife and hidden swimming spots. Savour the beauty of this charming hut with family, friends or a special loved one.

A medium level walk; 3km, 30 minutes, around the inlet side of Pepin Island. Now fully gravelled, allowing your own 4WD vehicle around there - soon to be allowing 2WD!

A basic kitchenette with a powered chilly bin, BBQ, camping stove and fresh spring drinking water.

Outdoor gas hot water bath with surrounding nature and ocean views. Solar shower, and composting toilet.

Please note. due to the location the facilities are limited. The hut is all solar power, if there is no sun there is no hot water for the shower. There is no cell phone reception unless you walk up the hill. Please bring a power bank as there is no way to charge your phones.
