On the morning of check-out, we woke up to the electricity not working in the entire hotel. As a result, we could not use the kitchen, make coffee, take hot showers, or charge our mobile devices. We had to wait more than an hour for electricity to be restored.
Despite electricity being restored around an hour before check-out time, hotel staff acted as if this was no big deal. I asked for a later check-out due to the situation, but was told I could only have a few extra minutes without being charged more money for late check-out. The complete lack of understanding from the staff was really strange and disappointing. Having electricity for a proper amount of time before check-out time is not a luxury. The hotel acted as if an hour of electricity was enough, and that we should just adjust to the given situation. The responses I got to my concerns were ignorant and rude. This is not how to treat guests, and I would never consider coming back to this hotel or recommending it to anyone.
