We stayed for four days and never had housekeeping unless we asked for it. And even then it never came except for some towels tossed in a wad in our sink. Beds never made. Trash not emptied. Ran out of toilet paper. First room we were in had broken ac and was 98. They offered to switch us to another hotel but our kids had another room and we wouldn’t change so they found us another room on another floor. Every time we asked for help they were nice and asked us to leave a good review. Then zero follow through. It got so bad we put our trash outside our room for sanitation reasons. 24 hours later it was still there! Hilton is pretty reliable for quality but this place was understaffed and not worth the Hilton price. We go to philly once a year and are hilton reward members. Never again for canopy.

Appalling Stay at Hilton Canopy Downtown Philadelphia My recent stay at the Hilton Canopy Downtown Philadelphia from December 27th to 31st was an utterly appalling experience. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was inexcusable. Our initial room was filthy, with visible stains on the couch and a malfunctioning AC unit. After being forced to change rooms, we encountered roaches on two separate occasions. To add insult to injury, on our final night, the room was not cleaned at all. The gym was equally unsanitary. It lacked basic amenities like sanitary wipes, and the floor was constantly littered with trash and dirty towels. This, along with the roach sightings, raised serious concerns about the overall hygiene and maintenance of the hotel. To add insult to injury, after we reported the issues with our initial room, the hotel proceeded to place our family members in that same room without addressing the significant cleanliness concerns. This demonstrates a complete disregard for guest comfort and safety. The customer service we encountered was also unacceptable. When we politely requested two extra small towels, we were met with a dismissive and unhelpful response: "If you don't have the extra towels then we couldn't accommodate your request." The only positive aspect of our stay was the friendly and attentive service provided by the staff at the hotel bar and restaurant. I will not be staying at this hotel again and would strongly advise others to consider alternatives.

The Canopy by Hilton is a beautiful hotel, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, but for me it missed the mark when it came to service and comfort. I had the impression that they didn’t have enough staff at the front desk (it took repeated calls before someone would pick up), our room wasn’t ready when we arrived after check-in time and then a power outage delayed it even further (obviously not their fault). I did, however, sleep better than I’ve slept in weeks. Service at breakfast was excellent.

The hotel, restaurant, and room were AWESOME. The staff were great and the rooms was quiet - neither inside or outside noise being an issue. My only complaint was having to drive around the block multiple times before checking in because only 3 (sometimes 4) cars can fit out front and traffic in that part of Center City is rarely light. Would absolutely stay here again.

They only have valet parking, which is $69 per day (with in/out capabilities). Regardless, I loved my stay and have no other negatives!

Rooms are beautiful although our heat was too strong so had to turn it off and on during our stay. Last day we lost power in the bathroom as we were showering to then check out. Overall the hotel is great and highly recommend!
