We had driven all the way from Indiana to Philadelphia to a funeral of 103-year-old cousin which evidently is irrelevant but when we pulled in, we found the place and we were gonna let people out to go check in. We were bombarded by German and said I’ll give you $20 for one hour or you got five minutes to go check in can’t check in in five minutes I think that the hotel staff or property owner needs to get a better grip on the parking for there, the prices are very reasonable but the rudeness of someone coming up to you or to your car saying that we were State was very disrespectful

The floor was so dirty that you couldn’t walk around barefoot, if you did your feet would smell We complained but the manager wasn’t there so nothing was done. There were holes in the walls. The towels were very low quality and they have no room service. Our room was very noisy and looked down at trash containers. I would not recommend this hotel.

$200 incidental deposit!
Overall we had a good time but the incidental deposit was $200. No one warned me of that, and it almost ruined the weekend due to stress. The parking was also $55, which wasn't clarified at first. I just wish there was more information offered before I booked here.

Nice Hotel
Excellent stay at Sleep Inn. Front desk (Adrien I believe ?) was very nice fellow and offered a few tips. Check-in was a breeze. Very close to convention center and Reading Terminal Market. Paid parking lot was next to building. Shower had magnificent pressure and the toilet evacuated all with ease.

This is a no-frills hotel in the middle of all the action, walking distance to so many Center City and historic attractions. Air conditioning was ice-cold, shower was good and hot, our room had a small fridge and a microwave. The young woman at the front desk was super helpful and friendly! The parking lot is small, and a separate charge, but the parking attendants were also helpful and friendly. Chinatown is a fun section of town with tons of character, shops and markets. Located very near the Reading Terminal Market; which you could probably spend a couple of days eating and shopping just there! If you want something fancy, with all the bells and whistles, go spend twice as much at a different hotel ;)

We had to pay for parking which was confusing since the website said there would be free hotel parking. The man collecting the money was very rude and hard to understand. It was noisy outside our window, most of the night.

Hotel room met our expectations. While an old place the room had been updated. AC was typically loud and the noise from the street discernable. Lobby needs work, breakfast was poor and the receptionist played loud music as soon as she got there at 7:00am....really?!

I stayed there three days. Every single interaction with parking people was abrupt, rude, and loud with little patience for a driver trying to safely get in a parking lot in an extremely busy area of Philadelphia. I dreaded every time I had to go out to my car because I had to interact and someway or another with the parking attendant again. Parking is the reason why I will never stay there again.

The Sleep Inn is located in a very convenient area of Center City, very close to Reading Terminal Market and City Hall. The room was overall a good value, especially considering the location. Two things - no one was available at the front desk when we checked in, so we had about a 10 minute wait, and the breakfast seating area was small.
