Enjoy the great Northwoods outdoors on this private, lakeside property located on Solberg Lake. A private dock, swimming area, canoe and/or paddle boat (bring your own life jackets and beach towels)are provided for your enjoyment of the lake. Or if you are a land lover you will find a fire ring with chairs for campfires and smores and a picnic table and grill for outdoor dining. The property also has quick and easy access to ATV and snowmobile trails along with public land for hunting. There is a county park nearby for guests to gather with friends and family. Only paying guests are allowed on the property.

Great relaxing getaway!!
We had beautiful weather and the house was perfect for our purpose of getting a few days away together as a family before everyone went off to their colleges and school and what not again. Very clean and updated property (and I’m extremely picky lol). Perfect access to lake. Bummer swimming wasn’t great because of weeds and water quality but that’s expected this time of year: did a day up at copper falls state park as well. Highly recommended. Owner was extremely prompt , brought us outdoor games and a clean furnace filter. Would definitely go again. Highly recommend!

My family had an absolute wonderful time! Everything was perfect and the cabin was spotless! Beautiful view of the lake, excellent fishing right off the dock! 2 bar/resturants and boat landing within walking distance. The lake was beautiful and big enough to do all the boating and fishing you wanted even when it was busy on the weekend! We had an absolute blast and made so many great family memories that will last a life time! My youngest son learned how to water ski and we caught enough fish for a great fish fry! Sharon was an absolute great host! We’re hoping to book again next year. Thank you so much!

Beautiful Setting, Excellent Hosts
Family of 4, stayed 6 nights. Visited to ride ATV trails and hang out at lake. Close trail nearby as well as numerous trailheads within 1 hour radius. Lake was great, paddle boat and canoe were available at the time for use. Hosts were EXCELLENT! A very strong storm came through and hosts ensured we had everything we needed while respecting our privacy. 100% will stay here again.

Piper’s Cabin on Solberg Lake
If there were 10 stars to give, I would give this cabin & the host, Sharon, an 11! The cabin’s living area & kitchen is impeccably clean & decorated so cute; the beds, linens & towels are soft, clean & comfortable; and, the cabin is stocked with everything needed for every day living! The grounds are tidy & kept well, and the hosts (Sharon & Russ) live nearby & are quick to respond to any & every need. So much to do (great biking around the lake, if you’re into that) & just a great place to relax. This is a gem & we will be coming back!

Cool property with water all around. Clean updated house with everything you need. Not the best for people who have trouble with stairs as the bathroom and bedrooms are on the second floor.

Great cottage on the lake
Excellent place, very clean, nice owners. We had a little care package waiting for us. The cabin is full of little necessities (toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, dish soap etc). There was also ketchup and mustard in the fridge which I am a big fan of. We were running a tad late on checkout and the owners was VERY gracious. Would stay again for sure!
