The area is super convenient for downtown, which explains the cost. Super clean rooms and the Staff were very nice and accommodating. The bathroom provisions were excellent. We would have loved a coffee maker in the room.

Nice hotel and complimentary mini-happy hour. Main annoying thing is no coffee in rooms or free bottled water. Those seem pretty basic at hotels that cost half as much.

Very upset how check in went. We. Arrived about an hour early. Knew a room might not be ready. Was told we were 1st in the list and would text us when ready. By 3.30 nothing. We ate & came back & waited in lobby as we saw other people were told their rooms we ready. Ask desk again - no room for us. I asked if this is how they treat rewards members. Finally saw the manager and talked to her, were told there were rooms ready and could get keys asap. I think the 3 people working the front desk were too busy laughing and goofing around. When I told them I was a reward member that was when the man went & got the manager. Needless to say we finally got in around 4. I was livid it took so long. Even the valet man was surprised we were still sitting waiting while others who came in later were helped and checked in. I’ve been a member for about 8 years and nothing has ever happen like this before. We just stayed in Washington DC & Miami plus our daughter got married at your sister hotel the intercontinentals ( my daughters wedding was very expensive) so spent a lot of money at the hotel in Monterey Ca

The hotel is beautiful and clean with a feeling of high luxury without the crazy sticker price. The staff weee extremely helpful even following up with a quick text message an hour after checking to make sure we were happy with everything. Through that text we asked about access to a microwave as there was not one in the room and they responded instantly by bringing a microwave to us. Overall the stay was short but extremely pleasant and memorable. Would highly recommend for anyone staying in Downtown Phoenix. And only a 5-7 minute walk to the Footprint Center or Chase Field.

The lobby going into the hotel is pretty dirty. The carpet and sofas are stained. The area is not that great. We witnessed a lady have a drug fueled freak out as we were having dinner at the Arrogant Butcher. The room was a suite and we didn’t have a microwave or a mini fridge. The staff are very friendly. That’s the only positive I can give for this stay.
