We stayed 4 nights. Air con worked great! Pool was quite warm. Beach and many restaurants were nearby. Mojitos at the bar were tasty and nice to sit on the patio. Never ate food here.

The property doesn’t have rain-water drainage system sue to which just about an hour of rain was enough to make your life miserable. The rain water flooded to our room. The room had ankle level water. We had our few clothes, and shoes on a floor which was wet due to the flooded water. One of the guest suffered a huge loss as his mac book was totally damaged. The hotel staff were very very unprofessional. I wont recommend this to anyone.

Very disappointed with room #10 as not what I requested and not a good view from that room and needs updating, but luckily they found room #19 and a huge difference in the location and condition of this room

Good hotel close to beautiful Kata beach
Loved the hotel and the pool is fantastic. The area is great for food and stores. You are a comfortable 3 minute walk to the beautiful long beach. It is also an easy walk over to the longer Karon beach. Last year, the food was so delicious at the hotel restaurant that we ate most of our meals there. This time around, we found out that they were relying on frozen ingredients and we found some to be “ freezer burned “ which affected the feel and taste of the different dishes. So we went out and found alternate food sources. Too bad because we were salivating for near 11 months to get back to their excellent cuisine. Things change...

Pleasantly surprised
At first, I was a little unsure as the taxi dropped us off at 2 am, and we had to walk down a little alleyway to get to the hotel. Our room was across from the pool, and I was worried about noise. It turns out that there was nothing to worry about. The air conditioning drowned out the noise, and the glass on the window was tinted so that no one could see in. The room had good wifi, and the tv had English speaking channels. The air conditioning worked great as did the shower. We had trouble with the lock on our door, and they brought a locksmith to fix it right away. The rooms were cleaned daily. We were given a bath towel and a beach towel, which was nice. The location was fantastic with convenience stores, restaurants, and bars within steps. It was only a five minute walk to a really nice beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if I came to Phuket.

We arrived early and were able to book in was also able to stay late on day of departure this was much appreciated. The room was very clean and serviced each day. The staff were friendly and made the stay special. Massages were excellent and very reasonably priced. Any issue was fixed immediately we would definitely stay again.

Great poolside bungalows
The bungalows are a good size with everything you need. Easy 3 minute walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants and shops right at the door. The bed is very hard and very dense pillows so not great for us. Also tv reception is very poor. We have stayed here a few times and love having the pool right at your door, we will be back again.

Absolute brilliant stay. Comfy room, clean, great spot back off the main road. Great pool for a dip. The cleaning and other staff second to none. We got a special and the price was great value.

A gem of a little resort perfectly positioned.
Everything was quite perfect ! A four minute walk to the beach. Their pool was warm and welcoming with enough lounge chairs to go around. The in house restaurant prepared excellent food which we could eat on our patio. The only let down is the position of the floor drain in the bathroom far away from the shower under the sink. Unfortunately, the floor is not exactly slanted towards the drain, therefore there is a lot of water hanging around which you must squeegee away to get a semi dry floor after every shower. If you laugh it off and take it as part of your daily exercise regimen, then there is absolutely nothing to complain about at this resort. We will be returning asap...

Good location friendly staff
Stayed here for about a week over the new year on a visit to Kata Beach. Phuket is expensive by Thailand standards and the Bungalow was reasonable in price for the convenience of having a pool and being a short walk from Kata Beach. Although accessed through the busy main street of Kata the bungalows are actually pretty quiet and sheltered away. The manager was incredibly friendly and helpful during our entire stay and the staff kept our room consistently clean and supplied.

relax at rico's
we loved rico's at kata beach. A lovely place to stay, location was great and handy to the beach, just a couple of minutes walk. The staff were friendly, the rooms comfortable, the pool a lovely place to enjoy. We were disappointed at first that there was no breakfast but they supplied plates and cutlery and it was no problem to buy fresh fruit and any other items we needed at the convenience store next door and sit on our porch and enjoy. There are lots of eating places nearby good cafes for coffee, recommend the café opposite the elephants that decorate the big hotel on the beach corner. Yes we would go back to Rico's.

Great location near Kata Beach.

Nice old fashioned bungalows
It was good to be able to get out of bed walk 5 metres and jump into the pool bungalows were old and basic, ours had some insects inside and during a tropical storm we were lucky not to get flooded (some did) it took a long time for the pumps to get working
