Unacceptable
They but us in a handicap accessible room. I don’t have a problem with that except this room had a shower that was so poorly ill conceived that taking a shower meant flooding the bathroom floor. When I called to Bring this the the front desk’s attention they explained that they were aware of this defect and that they were hoping to fix it in the future. They sent up 2 extra towels to our room to soak up the water in the floor. I can’t imagine what someone who is handicapped would do. When I asked for another room they said they were fully booked. I will never stay in that hotel again. The builder who designed this shower should be sued. The hotel management should be embarrassed.

Travelled from Ottawa with my hubby. Very nice place to stay. Clean, quiet, friendly staff, quick check in and out. Free coffee in the room. Food options and Starbucks on the site. Casino looks fun whoever likes it. Worth the price. I’m definitely coming back.

I honestly did not expect this hotel and casino to be as open, clean, and impressive as it was. I had a stigma about a random casino in the middle of Pickering, usually thinking of Niagara Falls as the go to for anyone in the Toronto area, but having been here now, unless you're doing the touristy things in the area around the hotel and casino, Pickering has a better hotel and comparable casino. The area around the hotel is.....empty and industrial, which is just a byproduct of the location, but once on site everything was great. Parking is plentiful, the lobby is expansive (albeit a bit impersonal), but the floors, rooms, felt as high end as a hotel can feel. I would definitely stay and play here again for a night away from life.

Parking was confusing, and entrance to hotel wasnt very clear. Room service didnt have any sweet options, and our dinner was cold by the time it got to us. Starbucks did a system update, couldnt accept all payment methods long line up, we ended up leaving after waiting 8 min and not moving in the line. Room was clean, very spacious. I would come back.

Great stay
Hotel had lots of great amenities. The casino of course, lots of great restaurants, a Starbucks and an arena. We stayed in a suite on the top floor. The price was a bit outrageous but it was the only room left and we booked last minute. It was a typical casino hotel room. It was beautiful and comfortable. BUT….the hotel entrance is not clearly marked. We drove around the casino/hotel for 10 mins looking for the hotel entrance before parking, walking and entering at the wrong place. The security said it happens to everyone. They said there is no markings to let people know where the entrance is. So back to the car we went, to do another drive around to look for the entrance to the hotel again. Even when we found it, the reception was not marked and we had to ask if we were in the correct place. The reception workers said it’s a terrible set up and more often than not people can’t find the check in area. Several people in the elevator were also talking about it. Other than that we had a wonderful stay at the casino resort. The machines payed. We ate at 3 of the restaurants and they were all good. We will definitely return, and be less frustrated next time with our check in now that we know where to go!
