Maple Point Hideaway is a cozy secluded cabin on beautiful Munuscong Bay. This private lakefront property is the perfect place for a peaceful relaxing getaway. Early risers can catch a spectacular sunrise right from the screened-in porch, listen to a variety of birds, and watch the wildlife including deer, turkeys, geese, ducks, and our resident Bald Eagles. Start a campfire at night and see the brightest stars or possibly even the Northern Lights! Enjoy the beautiful lake view from the deck and watch for the downbound freighters on the St. Mary’s River or take out the paddle boat that is included (bring your own life jacket). The shallow Bay depths average between 4-6 feet and is known for its excellent fishing, there is a 110 ft. dock and parking available in front of the cabin for a boat trailer, and the public boat ramp is approximately 10 minutes away.
The cabin is fully furnished and sleeps up to 4 people. Two bedrooms have comfortable queen-size log beds and a full bath with a washer/dryer. Bed linens, pillows, bath towels, hand/dish soap, toilet paper, and paper towels are provided. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, silverware, pots & pans, including a coffee pot, glass cooktop, convection microwave oven, toaster, crockpot, and dishwasher. Also included with the rental are the use of a charcoal grill (bring your own charcoal), fire pit (bring your own firewood), 4-Adirondack chairs, picnic table, paddleboat, T.V. with an antenna (no cable), Blu-Ray DVD player, Bose stereo with Bluetooth, and a variety of CD’s, DVD movies, board games, and books.
The cabin is perfectly located for all kinds of adventures. It is less than an hour’s drive to the Soo Locks, Cedarville, Hessel, DeTour/Drummond Island ferry, Mackinac Island ferries in Saint Ignace, Kewadin Casinos, and Chippewa County Int. Airport CIU. Take a day trip to Tahquamenon Falls and Whitefish Point in under 2 hours.

• No Air-Conditioning
• No Wi-Fi internet, and the cellular signal is spotty at the cabin and in the surrounding area. You can use this opportunity to unplug and relax with no distractions.
• This cabin uses a cistern water well system. The water is filtered and clean. However, it is not listed as a potable water system. You will need to bring your own drinking water.

• No smoking inside the cabin or on the porch (please smoke outside and leave cigarette butts in the fire pit)
• No pets
• No parties or unregistered guests
• No loud noise or music
• No fireworks
• No hunting
