Pier 39 Tours and Activities

This hotel punched above its weight with its beautiful rooms and stylish fittings. I was a bit surprised my 8th floor room looked out on a white brick wall, but with the noise and bustle of SF below, I soon realised it was a gift to be away from it all, and it was super quiet. The ceiling fan was amazing and helped heaps on the warmer days. The coffee bar set up behind reception is great with hot water, coffee and tea available. The poverty and drug addiction in central SF was confronting, and I didn’t feel that safe at times. This hotel provided a small pocket of respite from long and tiring days. (Solo traveller, F 40s)

Really nice stay. Extremely comfortable beds and a well appointed room. Location is a bit 'touristy' but very safe and good for a 1st time San Fran traveller. Staff were fantastic. Extremely helpful and the common areas were really good. Would stay there again without hesitation.

The room was very spacious. They have games downstairs and free tea and coffee. Easy walk to fisherman’s wharf with lots of food options.

Fantastic location with an excellent restaurant, bar, and awesome gym. Great base for exploring the inner city on foot and via cable car while nicely located to get an Uber to and from the airport and explore further a field
