While we were disappointed that we were unable to reschedule after the loss of a grandparent, half of our family spent 3 nights at the property and enjoyed the house. It was a very large space for only 4 of us, so we felt quite spread out, but the home was beautiful and had ample space to entertain us all and the rest of the family left in WI.
We had zero cellular service, so the wifi was a Godsend. The house (especially the kitchen) was close to the best-stocked home we’ve stayed in. There were plenty of towels, comfy pillows, and blankets. The beds were super comfy and rooms were spacious and private.
I would’ve loved to have screens on the doors to improve airflow - there is no a.c., which probably isn’t always necessary, but the upstairs had to be 85 the first night.
There’s a fenced-in area in the yard, an incredible workout area, and lots of games and a poker table. We also loved having the garage to park in.
I docked the cleanliness as the dishes seemed to have not gotten cleaned from the last group, so we had to do some washing before eating. There were also some spots on the wall in the master bathroom as well as handprints on the headboard that were a bit off-putting when I awoke to the sun shining off of them in the morning.
The owner was very responsive and checked in on us to make sure that everything was good, which we appreciated.
Overall, it is beautiful home, and we enjoyed staying there for our first visit to CO.
