Villa Pheakon is a luxury villa located on the south coast of Cyprus and just a few minutes walk from the un- spoilt blue flag beach at Pissouri bay. Here you can find a good selection of tavernas and mini markets. The villa has been constructed in traditional Greek Island style, offering spacious accommodation throughout, Private swimming pool, private parking, high degree of privacy and views towards the bay. A very private lovely villa
After a bug hiccup with the original booking due to a relationship issue, Pete was super supportive and helped me to move the booking to a future date. Arriving at the villa, it was clear this is a very private villa. Not overlooked in any direction. A wonderful outdoor space,, and open plan kitchen / diner / living room. Very good sized bedrooms, and very well stocked. A lovely welcome pack of wine, and food items like milk, bread etc was left as we arrived late evening. A very inique place is you want some privaxy. A very short walk to the beach and restaurants (about 5 mins). Will absolutely consider going again. Thank you!

A marvellous stay
We had a lovely holiday at Villa Pheakon. The villa is clean, light, modern and well equipped. We arrived late to find a very useful welcome pack which Pam, the local manager for the villa, provided. She popped in the first morning to welcome us and was always available to contact should there be a need. There is very efficient air conditioning (on timers) with the added bonus of ceiling fans in the bedrooms as well. The private pool was very clean and inviting and we enjoyed lovely morning swims. The sun did disappear by about 4 pm, but maybe this was due to our visit being later in the year. Excellent communications from the owners, Denise and Pete, who provided detailed instructions prior to our arrival and had also produced a comprehensive guide to all the facilities in the villa itself. Would recommend a car. A good time was had, many thanks. Val and Joe

Wonderful stay at Villa Pheakon
We had a two week stay at Villa Pheakon and it was fantastic! There was everything there that you could have needed, all bases covered, home from home. The living accommodation was ideal with plenty of space. The gardens were absolutely beautiful and well tended. The pool and pool area were lovely and so relaxing. The lady who manages the villa was so helpful and friendly. We will definitely be going back sometime soon I hope.

A welcoming and comfortable retreat
Apart from the odd bowl of cereal and the contents of the very thoughtful welcome pack, we don't really self-cater and, to be honest, some of the pans provided have seen better days so that might have detracted if we spent more time in. What we need in Cyprus is a comfortable base to come 'home' to and this ticks al the boxes - spacious, clean and well equipped. The master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed and a small patio with table and chairs, ideal for breakfast in the sunshine, looking towards the ocean. We did come in early one day and discovered the sun disappears around 1630 at this time of year but it's still pleasant to lounge on the main patio or by the pool. Slight detractors, some of the electricity cuts off when you take the house key out, which means re-setting the bedside clock at least once per day (takes seconds though), and there's no independent access to the garden which means you need to be around to let eg. the pool guy in twice a week. But he does come earlyish (not good for a lie in but ensures you get to the beach on time!). Pam and her team, very efficient, problem with kitchen tap, known and immediately resolved, and a good clean through about mid-term. I take nothing off for the building site on the hill directly opposite, which is just one of those things in Cyprus, albeit they did seem to be at the piling/Jackhammer stage for the whole of our stay, starting just after 7.00am! We were never in to take advantage of the large lounge/dining area or the comprehensive looking entertainment system, it was just delightful to sit on the patio with the garden lights and a glass of vino. So, we have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation, whether you like to stay in or just have somewhere nice to come back to. Noise from the building site could be annoying but, being Cyprus, it could be finished in no time, or drag on for a while - there's a bit of sensitivity over foundations at the moment due to a landslip in the village - but hopefully, once the piling is finished, it'll be a lot quieter.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The villa is located in walking distance of Pissouri Bay, where there are plenty of restaurants and shops. Also within walking distance of the beach. The owners were extremely helpful in the run up to our trip, and the staff that we met whilst we were there, villa manager, cleaners and pool guy, were all very pleasant and helpful with the few topics that we raised. The villa is spacious with a good size pool. In the afternoon the sun was blocked by other villas, so if sunbathing is your thing best to do this in the morning, or visit the beach. The sea views are really only seen from the balcony of of of the bedrooms, but that was not a great problem for us. More of an issue was the building site on the opposite hillside where 3 new villas are in the early stages of being built. The noise continued for most of the day. However, once this is done visitors next year will not have this problem.

All round 10/10. Couldn’t fault booking process, communication with owners or checking in process. Photos don’t reflect how big the villa is, especially outside space. Truly wonderful. Everything in the villa is like home from home. Cannot think of anything I could change. The pool man, gardener and cleaners were all very courteous and professional. Good communication with owners and clear instructions throughout. Well equipped villa, clean and welcoming on arrival. Enough kitchen utensils to enable home cooking if required. However local restaurants all a short walk away, good standard of food and very reasonably priced - so no need to cook unless you really want to. Good BBQ area , but didn’t use it. Only area for improvement would be air conditioning in main bedroom - very noisy and on a timer which ran out during the night.

This was the perfect holiday home for is in this location
We've been lucky enough to have stayed in villas in lots of fantastic places. All of them had their plus and minus points but Villa Pheakon in Pissouri Bay worked just perfectly for us. The location is far enough away from the little resort to make it very quiet but close enough to walk comfortably for an evening meal. The fact that it has adjoining properties on either side worried us but the staggered layout meant that we didn't see anyone for the whole 10 days we were there, it felt secluded. The external layout round the pool was great, plenty of loungers, chairs and tables. Nice BBQ and breakfast area and a good sized pool. The house itself was perfect. It felt like a home, comfortable sitting area with ample space. Well fitted kitchen with everything you need, good sized bedrooms (beds a little too hard for me but that's a personal thing), good shower rooms. Pete was very helpful when I called him because I couldn't get the wifi on (my stupidity). The whole place was l;aid out to welcome us and keep us comfortable during the stay. We'll be back

Difficult to review for as the saying goes "exactly what it says on the tin" Great Villa with everything you need for a holiday. Does not feel like a holiday rental but a home in the sun. Kitchen and lounge well appointed with everything you need and not once did I look for something that was not there. Only used main bedroom and bed comfortable which can sometimes be an issue but no worries there. Location is great with easy walk to town and beach.

A very private well appointed villa
This is a lovely villa only a few minutes walk from Pissouri Bay where there are numerous restaurants and tavernas. The villa is beautifully furnished and very homely. Denise and Peter provided great instructions and communications throughout our experience. The refurbished pool is delightful with the Roman steps providing easy access. Notable about this villa is the privacy you get, it was quiet and very relaxed and provided ideal quiet family time. The balance between being able to go out and 'be at home' is perfect. Would have no hesistation in recommending to others

Beautiful villa, everything we needed to enjoy our stay in Cyprus
Pissouri was a perfect spot to explore Cyprus, a lovely small town with excellent restaurants and nearby supermarket. Yet easy to get onto the Motorway to explore the whole of the island. We needed to change our dates due to work commitments and Pete and Denise were very accommodating - much appreciated!
