We had to find a place last minute due to an unforeseen travel change. Not only was Maya Beach Hotel accommodating, but it has been recently renovated. Complimentary room upgrade on our arrival, with refreshments, made it all the better. Would definitely recommend! Try the Bistro there as well

This place looks just like their pictures! Its an amazing place. I loved the bungalows right in front of the ocean. Beautifully decorated and arranged room. No phones; not even to call the front desk. The Bistro is amazing! Happy hour 3-5pm. Drinks are great. Food is beautifully presented and tasty. Service was excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful. Make sure you have US dollars with you for tipping as there is no bank or ATM nearby. Belize City airport doesn't have currency exchange either. Bring the benjamins from the US.

Very nice greeting upon checkin and property was clean and well maintained. Parking lot accessible only by walking on beach path. Pool was small but refreshing and we had breakfast at the bistro and the food was good. Room had a balcony overlooking the ocean and the sounds of the waves was great in the evening. 15-20 min drive to the town but there are several restaurants and convenience stores close by. Overall, would definitely stay again.

Our checkin was very easy and the staff was very friendly. It was nice that every day they made sure we had everything we needed and if there was anything they can do to accommodate us. The room was very nice and right on the beach. It was nice to just wake up and put your feet in the sand and look at the beautiful ocean. I would highly recommend staying here.

Un hotel sencillo pero muy agradable. Las habitaciones muy limpias y super bien mantenidas. En areas comunes (pasillo y acceso a habitaciones) requiere un poco de mantenimiento. La comida en el Bistro es simplemente deliciosa!! La atención y servicio extraordinaria

Itis a very nice location right on the beach, All the staff was very helpful and the restaurant is very good.

My wife and I stayed in the bottom level of Dreamsicle for 6 nights in March 2024. Everything was wonderful. The house is clean and comfortable with everything you will need. The private porch with a hammock and a view of the ocean just footsteps away is amazing. The property is very relaxed and quiet at all times. The Bistro is terrific. Probably best of all is the amazing service we got from the ladies working at reception the whole time we were there. We will definitely be returning to the Dreamsicle house as soon as we can.
