This upscale home has everything your group needs to relax and enjoy each others' company. The open main living area is complete with a full kitchen, dining table for eight, and a comfortable living room with a flat-screen TV. Watch a show or movie (cable and a DVD/Blu-ray player are included), chat with fellow travelers over a glass of wine, and use the WiFi to book an excursion for tomorrow. After dinner, head out to the pool for a dip and watch the sky change colors while sitting together on the patio furniture. Before heading to bed, step through your room's sliding glass door to the covered balcony and up the spiral stairs to the rooftop deck to enjoy some incredible views. Amazing home with beautiful views and fantastic service!
Our family of 7 had a fantastic vacation in this beautiful escape on Maya Beach. The house is very well equipped with all the amenities a large family with small children would need. The beach is gorgeous and right outside the back door. The property manager was a godsend. There is a lot to do within 30 min drive due to proximity to Placencia (diving, bars, restaurants, grocery stores, bakery, airport shops). For more adventures, the major sights are within 1-3 hr drive. It was amazing! We are already talking about coming back!

High School Graduation Trip
We rented this house for a high school graduation trip. The house was perfect for what we needed. The house was clean. If there is something to complain about, I would say the wifi does not work upstairs and the doors scrap the floor causing damage to the tile. We did have a lizard friend in the house and made for a comical video of having our graduate boys getting the lizard out of the cabinet. We do plan on going back and renting the house again.

What a vacation!
house was clean and totally fit our needs. The bbq was nasty so didn't use it. Could use some personal flotation devices and a couple paddle boards . Only seen 1 cockroach which is awesome considering the country. Named him Harry. We will rent this house again next year!

We had a wonderful time at Casa Chachalaca. The place was clean and well-maintained. Our only small complaints are the dryer and dishwasher. The dryer took about 4 cycles on high to. Implore a load. There must be an element out. The dishwasher was not anchored to anything so when you opened the door it would fall out. Otherwise, it was a truly blissful week. I’ve never felt so little stress.

Wonderful place!
Very nice place to stay. Great beach except for the garbage that gets washed up in the tide seems to collect on the beach and not get picked up. Pool was nice, but not sure it gets chemical added on a regular basis as it did not smell clean and chlorinated. House is lovely and has everything you need. Beds are all full size, so a bit small and would suggest taking your own pillows. Outdoor space is truly beautiful and could only be made better by more comfortable outdoor seating. Chairs provided are uncomfortable and in very poor condition. Green Parrot next door was amazing. Helpful and kind staff. Leo is wonderful and provided us a ton of help and advice!

Only 3 negatives= lots of seaweed; a spiral staircase which would be tough with bad knees or heavy people; the beds were hard. We really enjoyed the home though and recommend it for your vacation.ps Chris & his staff were very helpful!

This is a great house, very attractive, spacious, modern and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped - we did some light cooking. AC throughout worked great. Having a full sized washer and dryer was a real bonus, as we were able to travel lighter and keep towels clean and fresh. There is not daily cleaning service, which we really did not mind. The beach is great, nice, shallow and sandy to way out. The only negatives I had were the pool was not running correctly, water was not being filtered. And if it were my house i would replace or add some nice outdoor furniture including loungers on the roof deck and better chairs and an outdoor table. In my opinion the value of the house for the money is excellent. The area is bit of a challenge. Placencia is a 3 hour drive from the airport using paved roads, which the rental company recommended. The "coast highway" is unpaved. Restaurants are adequate but I wouldn't call them good. Same with the grocery stores. We have been going to the Akumal/Tulum area where restaurants/grocery stores are excellent and inexpensive. The best place we found to eat in Placencia was at Jaguar Lanes, although Mr Q's had just reopened nearby and is good. Owners/managers are super nice. One super positive thing is that everyone we encountered in Belize was very nice and friendly.

Best Vacation EVER!
This is a GREAT property in a wonderful location! Our entire family had plenty of room for family time and for alone time. We completely enjoyed the pool, being able to cook our own food and wash our clothes. The only thing missing was a nice grill and maybe a few more beach towels and lawn chairs would have been nice. Great place, and we would gladly come back again!

A comfortable retreat
We shared the house with two other couples and found it had ample space for everyone to be comfortable. We loved that there were a few fantastic restraints close by. Placencia about a 15 minute drive had lots of stores and fresh produce. A 30 minute drive to waterfall hikes and chocolate making. The house and caretakers were helpful and available for things we needed.

Great House!!!
