As you step into the second-story cottage, you'll be greeted by panoramic views of the sparkling 24 x 48-foot modern salt pool, kiddie pool, and spa, all set against a backdrop of breathtaking countryside scenery. Spend your days lounging on the sunny full-length patio or relaxing in the deeply shaded pavilion complete with barbeque facilities, comfortable cushioned patio furniture, and a cozy outdoor stone fireplace. You'll also have access to a second pool bathroom and shower, providing the ultimate in convenience and comfort.
Inside, the cottage boasts a spacious bedroom with a plush queen pillow-top mattress, sumptuous down pillows, and luxurious Egyptian cotton bedding, ensuring a good night's sleep. Perfect Stay
This could not have been a better stay. The pool house and surrounds are just beautiful. The cottage is so lovely, built with beautiful cabinets and lots of light. It is well-furnished, and includes a kitchen that holds everything that we needed to cook several meals there. Our hosts were very responsive, and clearly wanted to make our stay as positive as possible. We felt so well taken care of! My husband and I felt so appreciative to spend our weekend in such comfort and beauty. We will return!

Jeanne and Bob were exceptional hosts. We had a problem with VRBO not showing our reservation, the hosts were great about communicating with us. The property is thoughtfully put together and well-appointed (we've stayed at places where basics like handsoap, trashbags, toilet paper, etc. weren't stocked...not the case here!). The property is easy to get to, but you really feel like you're off the beaten path and many of the amenities make it feel like a luxurious space. Well-worth a weekend getaway!

Dream Getaway
This property has just about everything Iā€™d want in my dream house: beautiful landscaping, pool, hot tub, outdoor living area, outdoor entertaining area, garden, fountains, fire pit, volleyball, basketball, and beautiful interiors. The host was on site, readily available to meet needs, but also invisible. We felt like we had the place to ourselves. Note, there are lots of stairs. My sister had some trouble with climbing stairs so was a little inconvenient for her. I would recommend in a heartbeat.

Little slice of Heaven
This is a wonderful get away or place to land while exploring Auburn and surrounding areas. Upon walking in the gated area, you will be swept away with the view of the stunning pool with the Cottage behind it. So European! Gardens full of aromas throughout the day and evening, birdsong. The Cottage is charmingā€¦feels perfectly French in every wayā€¦I loved the refer/freezer combo and the induction stove. Very comfortable bed and furniture. It is light and bright with windows everywhere and blinds when you need them. Completely private, there are places to entertain (I hosted a luncheon for 3 birthday friends catered by a nearby Chef). It was perfect. The pool. It is delightful with an old-school diving board and itā€™s deep! Perfect for those who love to tread water as I do. I do not have one complaint. The hosts generously shared their farm fresh eggs and a lovely bottle of red was waiting on the table. How much did I love this Cottage full of charm? I booked it again for 10 days next month! Thank you, Hostsā€¦your Auburn Cottage Pool House is a little slice of Heaven!

Casual Elegance
Our second stay here. We stayed as a home base for white water rafting with our two kids. Really wonderful. Kids loved the pool and all the amenities in the extreme heat of summer. We also took walks and played ping pong. We plan on coordinating with a second family to stay here again next year. We would stay in the pool house and the second family would stay in the carriage house.

A quiet, private spot with beautiful farm views, within minutes of downtown Auburn and all the area has to offer. Perfect place to wind down, and have a soak in the hot tub after a day exploring the areas many trails. Highly recommend!

Beautiful space, but not for more than 2 adults
Beautiful coach pool house with views of the pool, citrus trees, neighboring farms and animals! Our dates were impacted by the Southwest Airlines fiasco & Bob & Jean weā€™re flexible with us about the date change. The space is nicely decorated and comfortable. The living room doubles as the 2nd bedroom and adults should know that the sofa couch mattress was not comfortable, you could feel every bar and spring. It wasnā€™t improved much by just moving the mattress to the floor. Also, if you intended to have kids sleep on the sofa couch alllll of the beautiful windows do not have blinds and the room is bright as soon as the sun comes up. The kitchen is truly a kitchenette- only two burners, no oven, fridge & freezer are small. We appreciated the local bottle of wine & eggs provided when we arrived. The pool area & outdoor living room are beautiful & the added pool full-bathroom is genius. We were intrigued to see a fun pizza oven! Unfortunately we werenā€™t able to use the hot tub as we had hoped, as the ā€œatmospheric riverā€ messed with the heating unit. It was a big bummer and Bob & Jean were very apologetic about it. Designed parking was easy to use & nicely paved. The road/driveway to the house is very bumpy and full of potholes and very SHARP speed bumps. Our small car bottomed out each time we went over them. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful place, hopefully we can come back and fully utilize all of the bonus features of the property!

We really enjoyed our stay. Gorgeous property and the hot tub was just what we needed after not having power at our home in the sierras for a week. Communication with hosts was great. Wifi connectivity could be better, but we were happy to have it at all. Our two pups loved it as well!

Very nice cottage - home away from home
Very nice country atmosphere. The cottage was wonderful, overlooking pastures. It was very clean and modern. We stayed for 6 days with a small dog. The owners are on the premises and are very nice. Enjoyed the seclusion but shopping and restaurants are just a couple miles away, if desired.

My 9 year old granddaughter and I stayed two nights in Jeanneā€™s lovely cottage pool house. What a delight! Very high end design with superior details that will be appreciated by the most picky guests, but also extremely comfortable. Excellent queen bed in the one Bedroom and a large, very cozy sofa bed in the wonderful Living Room by the fireplace. Lovely all around. Definitely recommend.

Us humans loved the bed, furniture, dishwasher, microwave, cool fridge/freezer, bathroom & the huge tiled shower especially! Our 4 year old Brittany loved playing with the donkey, goats & hogs. Lots of hiking area nearby. Amenities & kitchen supplies were excellent. Proximity to everything was awesome! Quiet & private. Great owners!

Spa was filthy, algae in wading pool too.
I mentioned the spa and pool were unsanitary immediately on arrival. Jeanne the owner said do you own a pool, I don't know what to tell you. Also had trouble with the TV, at one point Bob the other owner demanded i let him in to set the TV. He said this is my house I don't want you screwing with the cords and messing it up. I literally had to explain we are in a pandemic, I prefer you not come in while we are staying here. He ended up walking me through the process over the phone it was very easy. He didn't need to get so agitated. I'm very sad and disappointed... I thought this was a place we would have enjoyed for years to come.

Absolutely loved our week long stay. The kids spent each day swimming in the pool/hot tub, biking and interacting with the animals around the property. The home was beautiful and close to great breweries and wineries. The property owners were wonderful and helpful whenever we had any questions. Highly recommend!
