Maybe it was due to the time of year I went to the resort(October), but ALL the cabanas that would usually be down on the beach were all around the pool area which left VERY little room to walk down to the beach. They were so tight together when going to the beach you feel as if you’re interrupting people as you pass by

Loved our stay at the Hilton Hotel Playa Del Carmen. The hotel has everything you could want in an all inclusive stay. I would say the food was a huge plus, all restaurants were great and the food was very fresh and tasty. We ate at Asiana 3/4 nights we were there it was that good! Our room was very spacious, equipped with all the amenities you could ask for.

We have been coming here for 10 years now. Only complaint from this trip is there are no lounge chairs next to pool. You have to pay $110-$170 to rent a cabana that includes the two chairs poolside.

We thought we booked a room that you could walk out on to the beach however that turned out to be an $800 surcharge and room opened to a grass yard bordered by a shrub that hid the fact that the beach was only about 5 feet of sand until the water. Don't get fooled by the properties marketing photos!!! The resort was to be all inclusive and if you're into eating slop and drinking watered down alcohol it is but they make you pay for better food but it's not worth the expense. Staff is friendly but most are plants for there families businesses on 5th ave, the tourist place where all the shops are, and they recruit you by guilt trip into their stores since they served you at the resort.

Very picturesque. We had a nice getaway. Unfortunately the beach was closed. Our elevator did not work 5 out of 7 days. When walkways were wet they were very slippery. All restaurants were good and our favorite places were Spice and Aromas.

The staff is amazing they keep the facility so clean working all the time. Hilton really disappointed, food was awful!!! Was bat able to really eat during my stay had absolutely not taste. The drink were even worse if you asked for additional shot in your mixed drink it was like more water was added. Shame on you Hilton organization!!
