We stayed there for 4 days in the Jacuzzi suite, however, we never got to enjoyed it since the jacuzzi was not functioning. Overall, the resort is extremely nice, clean, and huge. We really enjoyed our dinner at the blue moon restaurant, food was delicious and our waiter was courteous. Route 66 was also great, our waiter Angel was the best. The buffet food is mediocre at best but you're stuck eating breakfast there plus the staff there is the absolutely worst so get use it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there, drinks were good, food is good besides the buffet, pool activities were fun and room were clean. I would totally recommend for a nice relaxing get away.

We were a large group of 25 people. Just returned last night back from the resort everything about the resort is amazing including food service cleanliness choices of restaurants to dine attention to details by the workers there, It all met and above our expectations The only down thing about this resort is the beach. You have to walk to the neighboring properties for the beach experience so you still have access to the beach but not just directly in front of this resort. I am personally a beach lover and I was quite disappointed by not having a huge beach in front of this property. Still I had a wonderful stay because they have a beautiful pool right in front of the ocean so you can still be in the pool and enjoy the ocean and the waves and the beauty around. What I did like was the sports bar they had which is amazing for people who like to watch certain special matches etc. this was a new experience as I had not seen sports bars in any other resorts so far.

Our group really liked the number of recreational choices available especially the bowling and arcade. What did bother us was that the water slides are only for children. We didn’t know that. There was a ‘tax’ for use of the kayaks and the hobby at as well as a a refundable deposit for the hobby cat. The deposit was understandable but the ‘tax’ I have never heard of before. As a result nobody used those items. It seemed fishy to us. There was a paddle board session that was only for the ‘privileged’ group. There were a lot of things that only the privilege or privilege or premium group got I think if you can afford it paying the extra bucks may be worth it. The food was fine The specialty restaurants were fine but nothing particularly stoood out as wonderful. The rooms were very nice. The staff were very nice. The shows varied in excellence but were generally good. There is a lot of coatimundi around as well as other wild life. Sadly many people were feeding them despite the signage telling the guests to not do this. I can’t fault the hotel but perhaps at checking in,a bigger case could be made to not do this. A threat of fining people and patrolling this activity would be worth it. It is so bad for the animals. Some people try to persuade the animals to come close to their babies. Somebody is going to get bitten and it won’t be the animals fault but they will be punished. The mechanical bull riding on Mexican night was a hoot for spectators at least.

I stay for 6 days staff is friendly food is good , property is old need lots of renovation . 3 days out of six is calling them to fix , safety locker , water leaking in the washroom lots of unit beside has flood in the room due heavy rain , too wild animals damage u r stuff if they get in to you room I am not if visit again . We loved our stay! Cannot thank the wonderful staff enough. Both our kids celebrated their birthday here this past week, and they were made to feel very special by everyone. From Giselle at kids club, to Benny the bus/train driver, to all the chefs and hostesses and waitresses and maintenance staff and bartenders, we thank you. The beach is wonderful and so is the beach pool. The kids waterpark is great and well maintained. All the pools and facilities and meticulously maintained. Lots of fun activities for all, we especially loved the coffee shop, Tepoanyaki restaurant, bowling alley, and the Pez Vela beach restaurant with th gorgeous view. We will be back for sure!

My family and I chose this property as it seemed safe and had many activities for young children (6 under 6). The check in process was efficient. We arrived on a Saturday night and there was lots of lively entertainment and it was a bit noisy. This was the only night of our stay that was a little noisy. The rest was pretty quiet with few night time disturbances. The staff were very warm, polite and helpful. My room was cleaned promptly and the mini bar was refilled each day with plenty of water. The pools were perfect for toddlers and young children. The bar tenders offered a selection of alcohol free drinks that all the kids and adults enjoyed. We loved the coffee place. Again the staff were patient and helpful and service was efficient. The pastries were delicious. We mainly ate at the buffet restaurant as it was well suited to the varied needs of the kids. The staff were so great. I particualarly appreciated their special consideration of children with allergies. They went out of their way to ensure that my grandson who has a severe dairy allergy was able to enjoy his meals safely. The beach and beachside pool were fantastic. The bus transport was timely and very helpful. The only observation I would make was that the racoon like creatures that frequent the resort were somewhat overwhelming. Unfortunately, the resort has a hard job controlling the situation as the guests disregard the posted signs which prohibit the feeding of the wildlife.

The staff were VERY accommodating, nice, and quick to respond to our queries and needs. Even though we arrived late (past midnight) we still got a quick tour of the property on the way to our room, check-in was smooth and we received a warm welcome. The facilities and property felt very clean and new, the design is modern and layout made it feel like a village even though it's a large resort. They have these long golf carts that run throughout the day going from one end of the resort to the other, which was nice since it can be a 5-7min walk to the beach depending on where you're staying (a nice break on a hot day too). The beach was also lovely, the water is clear and clean, and the resort really is beach front. The beach front itself is very large, but going in the first half of November my partner and I felt like it wasn't too difficult to get a spot on the beach. Also, having walked along the beach to compare other resorts - Ocean Riviera's beach seemed to be the best in terms of keeping the sand very clean, free of large rocks and maintains the seaweed regularly. We would definitely come back to this resort, it would make a great resort for families and couples trips, we saw groups of all types here having a great time. the El Baso building is adults only, the families stay in a different building. Each building has their own pool too which was nice. The only thing we found a little confusing is how to book certain restaurants, otherwise 10/10 experience!

We went as a family of 22 ranging from 7 years old to 65 .. they accommodated us every evening in a sit down restaurant - the volleyball court was used by our family up to 4 hours a day - the younger ones enjoyed the games in the pool however they played there music WAY TOO LOUD - and Way too many coati running around!!!!!!!!!!!
