Hotel is not a 5 star. Maybe a 4 star if that. Food was mediocre, rooms smelled of mold, our room had a leak in the ceiling, our washroom door didn’t close. We had diamond service. Our butlers were great and got us into the specialty restaurants. The Indian restaurant I would have to say was the best. Water park looked like fun but we didn’t use it. Check in was so disorganized. Waited 4 hours for our room. Entertainment was good but seen better at other Royalton resorts. This was our 4th Royalton and the worst.

Had a great time. Lots of dining options - I’d give food 7/10 which I think is great for an all inclusive. Several pools (even outside of diamond club) and didn’t have too much trouble getting chairs each day. Loved the beach!! Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Will go back.

Booking with Royalton Splash through Expedia is key! Expedia has their own separate check-in (didn’t have to wait in the long line with everyone else). We had a separate bracelet that said Expedia so it gave us extra benefits similar to Diamond club without paying for Diamond club. We booked jacuzzi on terrace, which gave us our own butler (we had Lu who is awesome and goes above and beyond to help you at all times!) who made our reservations for us. I told her what time we usually eat dinner, she asked where we want to go, and boom reservation was made! She also contacted me before our trip and asked if I wanted her help with anything-she gave me the number for a safe and cheaper airport transfer than what I found online. The resort has people cleaning all day-so the bathrooms and sidewalks are spotless! Very clean resort! Events/shows every night (catered for kids-but not sure if that was because we were there on Christmas) My kids are 16 and 18 so they were a little old for the Christmas events, but there is bowling, trampoline park, and arcade for the older kids. My kids sat in our hot tub and watched the shows from our balcony 😊 During the day, there are pool events like water aerobics, fun races, water polo, etc. They have a wonderful gym with machines, yoga classes daily, other fitness classes daily like HIIT, Bootcamp, etc. They also have a spot for CrossFit. This is a great place I highly recommend! Booking through Expedia is the best way to go too!

Nicely centralized resort layout..where the restaurants, beaches, pools and kids activities were easy to access and very enjoyable! You have to pay for many things, since you have to pay taxes it is assumed that you have already paid for everything, and if you go to eat at a restaurant they come to sell you something that is not included and things like that.

Very clean resort. Check-in service was terrible, long wait and rooms were not given as booked. Took way too long to sort the room matter. Spoke with few other clubs people and they had the same experience.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Royalton Splash Cancun, and I can confidently say that it exceeded all my expectations. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with spacious, clean, and well-appointed rooms that provided all the comforts I could ask for. The housekeeping team also deserves a special mention for their impeccable service – the room was always spotless. But what truly stood out, however, was the exceptional customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. Whether it was offering personalized recommendations or promptly addressing any requests, their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident at every turn. It’s rare to experience this level of care and attentiveness, and I truly felt like a valued guest throughout my stay. Every single staff member at the hotel was very attentive and helpful all the time. Special mention and thank you to Ricardo and Alan (concierge from Prime office), Serge (butler from diamond club), Gerard (from guest service). My sincere apologies for the names I am missing in this review since every staff member contributed to make our vacation one of the best we have had so far. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking top-notch service, a comfortable stay, and an unforgettable experience. I will definitely be returning for future visits!

The hotel is by the sea, surrounded by jungle and it is so peaceful. However in the hotel you have great and big pools, access to the beach, all sorts of restaurants, even life shows and a water park. You don’t have to leave at all, but if you do like to explore they assist you with excursions of all kinds with transportation and amenities, it’s truly a beautiful experience and so family friendly, we love it and would go back tomorrow if we could

The resort was new, very clean. The food was very good. Staff amazing, especially Krystel the lady from Expedia she was amazing very helpful and very nice lady.

The buffet Staff employees, need more communications training. Employees seem to be angry and frustrated when it comes to be asked for food items, two of the four I was there I was ignored and was not even serve water, I had to stand up and pick up a fork and for myself. Also when asking for a hamburger or tostadas at the blue food trucks, employees refuse to give food saying that there is not enough for the rest of the line. I asked for fries and hamburger and was told that they do not have any, the employees have an attitude and do not want to cooperate, this same attitude happed for the rest of my staying at the Royalton. I also had to call for room service every day constantly, because it will not be done even with the sing outside the door.

The check in process was ridiculous….they made us wait over an hour and then gave us the wrong room said they didn’t have the one we booked available. They would not offer any other options just saying in this room and all 3 of you need to sleep in the king bed until we can try and get you another room tomorrow…we wasted so much time waiting for the room we couldn’t enjoy ourselves.

Our Expedia host Krystel was AHHHMAZING! Her going above and beyond is an understatement. She was the sweetest and most helpful. She even came in on her day off to decorate the room for my boyfriend’s bday. She was such a gem. Whatever y’all pay her, she needs TRIPLE! All the staff we great and super kind and accommodating. We enjoyed the food, the property was gorgeous, we loved our room with the hot tub on the balcony. Food was great too! Def will be returning!
