This was a smaller quieter adults only all inclusive resort that I have stayed at in the area. The dining options are smaller however the food was very good. The buffet had a lot of options and very fresh and tasty food. The hibachi at the Asian restaurant is the only meal that you have to make reservations and we loved the food and the hibachi was a lot of fun.The resort itself is very nice and the ocean view King room we stayed in was nice and spacious with a patio and view overlooking the pool and the ocean. The pool was great with a swim up bar and the beach area on the resort was great with plenty of beach area and no seaweed this time of the year. The resort did provide 2 weekend nights of about an hour of entertainment with dancers and shows and the sports lounge provided karaoke however if you are looking for a lively resort with a lot of entertainment then this would not be the resort for you. My husband and I were not looking for that on this trip so it was just fine for us. We do love Hyatt resorts and have stayed at many Hyatts and overall we were very pleased with this resort.

Property was small and somewhat updated from the old Capri. Check in was a used car salesman routine, lied and made it sound nice. the lack of restaurants was bad one night we only had 2 choices so we ended up eating at 9:00. It rained and there were several leaks around the whole resort. Rooms were very nice and updated. beach was big but could have used more Palapas. Overall nice resort for the money but not 5 star.

We enjoyed our time here. Unfortunately the rain storm came through our room at 1 am and rained on me- but we were upgraded thankfully. We also asked for a mattress pad 3 times but never got one. Ana and Juni with entertainment were so great. Francisco at the Social was my favourite bartender by far. I did wish the cabanas and coconuts were included in our stay though. I will most likely be back as our service was still great.

La piscina y la área del bar y restaurante de afuera es agradable y muy lindo y el personal de entrenamiento siempre muy amistoso. El spa lo supo recomiendo. Mi esposo y yo quedamos muy contento con el masaje y el circuito antes del masaje. Mi parte favorita fue la cafetería, relajante y perfecta para disfrutar de tu café y la repostería. Los demás restaurantes nada mal hay mucha variedad en el bufé y siempre hay diferentes menu. Hermosa vista a la playa y los cuartos muy limpios y cómodos. El personal muy amable y servicial.

The food was very good- we had the Italian and Asian and found both lovely as was the restaurant for lunch over the pool. Loved my massage with Jose and Cinthia was so accommodating in water therapy area. Jose did a healing, good pressure therapeutic massage, a nice surprise for a resort. The bed was a bit hard but the room was nice. Everyone on staff that we encountered was very friendly from the breakfast buffet attendant Guadalupe to the bellmen. We did not like the timeshare sales right after check in- felt uncomfortable and sort of got the vacation off on the wrong foot, but I just let it go and had a really fun time otherwise. I would advise them have an area to provide timeshare discussion instead of funneling everyone to have a “talk” just after checking in coming from long flight and airport bustle.

Overall very nice and great experience. The staff were extremely nice and quick to resolve any issue! There were a few things that were a little run down around the property but nothing that truly affected the experience.

10/10! The food was mind blowing. Easily the best resort my wife and I have been to where we felt every meal wasn’t just food….it was an experience! Staff was extremely attentive and you feel the genuine care and hospitality from everyone. The beach and pool access was clean, easy to find, and super relaxing. Don’t think twice….book your trip, you won’t regret it! This was for our honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing and UNFORGETTABLE!

Property was a dream for us. The staff was amazing. The food and drinks were delicious. The beach was perfecion. There is nothing negative we can say about our stay. Even the attempt to try and make us "Loyal Members" was pleasant lol Thank you Hyatt for an unforgettable vacation. We will be back.

I loved that the staff was very attentive and accommodating. You can see that they truly care about what they do and they do it wholeheartedly. Everybody was nice and pleasant. I loved going to their spa. It’s so tranquil and peaceful. I had the pleasure of going to the spa twice I enjoyed it very much. During my stay, the staff would fix the nooks and crannies. You see them painting, or fixing cracks on the walls. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing. To me, its them fixing the problem now rather than later and have the property end up looking not so presentable. The rooms looked exactly like the photos. Food was ok. I did enjoy their Italian restaurant. Instead of having the buffet opened every night, it was on rotation. In terms of setting up the buffet outside by the pool or inside by the main stairs. Entertainment was ok as well. I’m saying it was ok could be bc I went during an off peak season. Maybe it’s a different vibe when it’s peak season. I gave high ratings for this resort mainly because the staff really made it an enjoyable stay.

The hotel was well maintained clean nice ambiance pools were clean full of activities beach was extensive clean and walkable staff was friendly and helpful very conscientious and accommodating of dietary restrictions. Room was large clean well appointed. Food was excellent everywhere we ate. However we did notice a few things like the sink in our bathroom leaked water on the floor during each use the shower did not drain there was a constant puddle in it and the local animals kept popping on our outdoor patio - also the view from the room was of a giant blue dumpster with a sliver of beach and ocean. The check-in went smooth but then they ambushed you for a time share speal for one of their other resorts and it was bit of a hard sell with freebies trying to entice you. When you ordered drinks directly from bartenders they tasted good but if you ordered them through waiters or pool staff they were often weak not the correct drink or tasted different. There is no shuttle and it cost a bit to get back and forth to Cancun airport or to downtown Playa La Carmen. After a couple days you feel like your stuck in Hotel California with no way to get out an about without booking excursions. Overall it was nice but the all inclusive aspect felt weird (our 1st time) without a bill for meals or drinks never knew what to tip
