The hotel is great, most of the staff is friendly and the property is in good shape. It is a smaller property but very nice. Pros: clean, good food, great beach Cons: there is a limited verity of food and staff is either unwilling or unable to veer from the menu. Only allowed one pool towel per day. You can’t even trade in your wet towel for a dry one.

We love this place! Very friendly staff. It was our second time. They even remembered our family from last year. Food is fresh and tasty, maybe lacking a little variety, however it didn’t bother us. Amazing desserts! It is a smaller walkable resort, easy access to the beach. Great entertainment and water sports staff. Very close to Playa del Carmen center.

Our family of 4 had a great stay. The resort is small but we liked that. The entertainment in the evenings was awesome! The buffet was ok. There wasn’t too much variety but we could always find something we liked. The ala cart restaurants were good and in a 7 day stay we could book three. We also spent some time at the sister resort which is a 5 minute beach walk away. The staff is lovely and they all work very hard. Our biggest complaint was that my kids lost their towel cards and the resort charged us 40usd. We didn’t loose the towels, I tried to explain that if we lost the towels, I would have no problem paying but they didn’t care. So basically I was charged for a piece of plastic that is worthless. Pros: the common areas of the resort are nice (restaurants, snack bar, pool, beach) and the staff provided great service. Loved that it was in Playacar and walking distance to the shopping complex. Loved the evening shows too. Check out process was efficient. Cons: Check-in was so slow; we were in line for 45 minutes. The rooms need major updating as they are old and outdated. Also, I couldn't understand why there was only 1 trash can in the bathroom and none in the bedroom. It filled up so quickly, too since it was tiny. Toilet paper and kleenex were so flimsy and poor quality.
