This was the first place we stayed on our honeymoon in Costa Rica. We wanted a place near the beach that was not too far from Liberia Airport. This hotel fit the bill perfectly. The reception was very friendly and helpful. Willing to explain anything in English or Spanish. We enjoyed how everyone was willing to help us with our Spanish, as we are trying our best to learn and practice more. We have to give special thanks to the wonderful employee Ronny who gave us the warmest welcome to Costa Rica and felt like a friend right away. We hope to return again one day and chat again! We loved the style of our room and the comfortable temperature and bed, as well as the spacious bathroom/shower. Lots of place to hang and stores clothes or let them dry out after swimming or being in the rain. One of the best parts was being a few minute walk from the nearby beach - Playa Hermosa, which lives up to its name. Wonderful view, sand, and small waves. There is also a swimming pool on site which was great to enjoy especially on a quiet night. The restaurant staff cooks up some great breakfast and dinner, we loved starting the day with a filling plate of Gallo Pinto. Sitting on the grounds you will encounter a ton of birds and possibly some lizards and passing families of monkeys. The staff also helped us book a dinner boat tour nearby which was a ton of fun- we highly reccomend that.

The property is nice and great service BUT i felt that they took advantage of me and charged me 5$ a beer and way more for a shot of tequila. I know it's common in CR to charge "gringos" more money and its was not cool because I wanted to have a few drinks and wasn't going to pay the extra fee. Sorry. Everything else was good. Just ask about the prices first.

I really enjoyed the hotel hospitality. The hotel is located 1 block away from the beach. The walk to the beach and the beach itself was absolutely beautiful and quiet. I stayed at a room with 2 single beds. The room was super clean and comfy. The hotel also included a delicious breakfast.

Quaint stay with amazing staff
Lovely room and even better service. Anyone driving should note that the road and parking are unpaved so if you're renting go with an SUV. It's a short walk to the beach and several restaurants. The hotel restaurant is a little pricey but it was good for times we didn't feel like leaving the area.

Beautiful garden and well maintained pool. Clean rooms and convenient restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff. We love live music with possibility of dancing on Friday and Saturday. Walkable distance to the beach - about 5 min. The only thing that we didn’t like about the beach was that if you were coming back at night from the beach there were no street lights for a short time, dark and dirty corners of the street near by. I think the hotels on the same street should have street lights and clean streets that connect the beach.

Property is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. There is a restaurant on the premises but it’s a little pricey. The beach is walking distance which is a plus. I would definitely stay there again in the near future
