Everything was excellent. Rooms remodeled. Hot breakfast and the coolest Keurig machine I've ever seen. Brenda, the breakfast attendant, was the best! I thought the tall man at check in was absolutely amazing. He gave me a easy to use map of Plymouth. What an amazing place. Convenient for all sites 15 minutes walk. I would stay here again.

Check in was great, but the minute I opened the door to the room an air of acrid smell enveloped me. Only one of the tiny windows would open. So I kept the door cracked, feeling not so very safe . The smell was so strong and persistent that I had trouble sleeping. I put drops of perfume on my pillows to drown it out, but that did not work very well. I had just driven 9 hours so was too tired to go ask for a change of rooms or find another hotel. I was staying just one night, so I endured. The overall condition of the room was poor. Old carpet , poorly fitted bathrooms fixtures, dirty lamps. The only clean thing were the bed sheets, and the towels, but the bed itself contained that awful smell. There was just not getting away from it. When I complained to the front desk the next day, the gentleman promised to refund some of my $188, to make things right. That never happened. I received no promised refund. I booked this hotel based on reviews. So I feel like I was lied to.

Very well maintained older property. Kind and helpful desk manager and clean, spacious rooms. Bathrooms and carpets could use updating and there is a bit of a musty smell but overall very comfortable and convenient to everything.
