PLEASE NOTE: There are NO provisions for cooking. Keurig, hot water pot, microwave - that's all. Occupants are limited to two total. Undeclared additional guests are charged at $100 per person per night including children of any age - charged through VRBO as an "additional guest" and due immediately.

There is one security camera focused on the interior portion of the outside entrance door in order to ensure security integrity of the apartment.

Use of the general property is limited to the Porthole's dedicated outside patio and does not include the rest of the grounds. The Park in front of our house offers a convenient place to smoke if needed. (Smoking is not allowed in the apartment or the attached patio area.) The property is not 420 friendly. This is a basement apartment. The center floor is occupied by the owners and their Bordoodle. They endeavor to be quiet when the Porthole is in use.... However, you will, unavoidably, hear footsteps and limited sound and and occasionally barking from our BorDoodle, "Winnie". (If this is a potential problem for you, you should not reserve this unit. )

NOW FOR THE GOOD STUFF
the apartment is the best three- room "motel suite" in the county - (minus the motel..... we checked). You will love the privacy with the outside covered patio. It's perfect for storing your bicycles. PORTHOLE is great hideaway for a good nights sleep in the King sized bed. Explore the wonders of Port Angeles and the Olympic National Park. The apartment is a short walk to downtown, the Olympic Discovery Trail, two markets, a Starbucks, the Coho Ferry and the Field Performing Arts Center. Your hosts, Amy and Brent, are eager to make sure your stay is the very best. COME AND SEE.

Convenient location close to waterfront and dining. Easiest access to waterfront is down a long zig zag ramp and does require some endurance! Water pressure was amazing, bed comfortable and nice assortment of snacks provided. As described by the owner, they do have a dog and you can hear some noise upstairs , but we did not spend much time inside so was not an issue. Appreciated the secured entrances and able to park right in front. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great Location, close to downtown Port Angeles
Condo was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Hosts were very responsive and helpful with anything we needed. A quick 5 minute walk to downtown Port Angeles. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back to stay next time we are in town!

What a perfect rental for our first time to Port Angeles! Very walkable to restaurants and the ferries. The space was perfect for 2 people. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of fluffy towels. We especially loved the welcome book that was very informative with local suggestions. This is a gem of a rental. The care and clever design details that went into what was originally a garage is just a marvel. The unit is very clean, stylish and comfortable. My husband and I had a wonderful stay and wished we could have enjoyed it longer.

This property is such a great find! It’s super convenient to hit up downtown for great food & coffee. And Olympic NP (our reason for going) is only 10 minutes away! The property felt like a home, not a hotel and we will definitely stay here again on our next Washington trip!

The Porthole is a really nicely decorated one bedroom. It has been remodeled & is lovely. It is well equipped in the kitchen & bathroom. Even though it is under the owner’s residence, the occasional footsteps did not bother us. The location is excellent. We highly recommend this unit.
