Excellent Stay
We had never been to Washington State and tacked on a few days stay after a conference in the city. This rental did not disappoint! The location was amazing and we walked the beach many times. Port Angeles is a great little town close to the national park. We had the opportunity to hike, eat great food and rest in a peaceful house not far from the most amazing beach! The home was comfortable, neat, well kept and the beds were good. Thanks!

This tucked away hideaway was amazing! Every morning our family would stroll the beach steps from the house. Charming outdoor space at the house and the owner was super helpful! Close to enjoy crab fest but far enough to enjoy the peace.

Peaceful, beachfront house.
This was the perfect getaway house! The fully furnished home was immaculate and the kitchen was fully stocked, from dishes/pots and pans to spices and condiments. The beach was a few minutes walk from the house through a cozy canopy of fir trees. The beach was the perfect combination of flat river rock, sand and driftwood. We highly recommend this house for a quiet getaway or fun family time. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

First of all the view of the beach and the ability to spend time on the beach was fabulous. The stars at night were amazing. I enjoy cooking for my family and this house has the best appointed kitchen of our entire trip. Everything I could possibly ask for in a kitchen. The house was very clean and we had plenty of room to spread out. A very enjoyable stay.

Comfortable spacious home on a beautiful beach
Perfect stay in a large, clean, well-equipped home tucked away in a quiet seaside neighborhood. Right on a fantastic beach where you could walk easily in both directions as well as enjoy the sounds of the waves and the views of Canada across the strait. Short drive into town. Great access to Olympic National Park including Crescent Lake and Hurricane Ridge. Would definitely stay again.

Elwha Beach House
Our family came to explore Olympic Park for the first time. The property was as pictured and described, and the kitchen was well supplied. We enjoyed the decor of the house and the property with its beautiful trees, ferns and flowers. It was quiet and private, with a direct access to the beach. It was cold and sometimes rainy during our stay, but we bundled up and climbed over the drift logs to gather rocks and drift wood, and walk along the shore. I got some great pictures of the sun setting, much like the ones on the VRBO site. We walked down the beach to the mouth of the Elwha River, enjoying the structures folks had built with the drift logs as we walked. The trail along the river is a narrow path that winds around under tree coverage, through grasses and flowers to a small sand bar on one loop of the trail. I learned that bird watchers frequent the area. We watched a doe on the other side of the river as she drank from the clear water. The hike was one of many good memories we made at this property. We would go back if we have the opportunity.

Great location to enjoy sunsets. The home was comfortable and clean and conveniently located near the entrance to Olympic National Park. We especially enjoyed exploring the beach and hiking Hurricane Ridge, Sol Duc, and Marymere trails and kayaking on Crescent Lake. Recommend getting the clam appetizer at the Crescent Lake Lodge.

Great Beach Property Near Olympic NP
We really enjoyed this home. The layout was grear for a family. Our boys enjoyed having their own room. We used it as a base camp to explore Olympic National Park. It's close to the city but still in a private quiet area. Beach access is very nice as it's practically in the backyard. We enjoyed beach walks and watching the sunset each evening. We also took advantage of proximity to Port Angeles to take the ferry for a day trip to Victoria, British Columbia. It is an older home but still has some great amenities and is very comfortable. The owners are lucky to have had this property in their family for so long. Thank you for a comfortable home to stay in on our trip.

This fantastic beach front home gave us the perfect place to watch the Aurora from the waterfront at night, hiking in the nearby national parks, and is in a stunningly beautiful slice of wooded coastline. The three bedrooms and two bathrooms gave five adults their privacy, while the well equipped kitchen gave us the space to cook.
