Cabin 7: This Listing is for a Two-Bedroom Cabin with two queen beds. This cabin can sleep up to 4 adults.

This is one of eight beautiful cabins between Port Austin and Port Hope, MI that are all just steps away from Lake Huron. Each cabin has a furnished kitchen, bathroom, dining area, living room, and bathroom with shower. Outside you will find an firepit, propane grill, picnic table and patio furniture. This cabin features an over-the-water deck with an incredible view of the lighthouse at the adjacent park!

These cabins were built in the 1940's so they have a vintage look and feel, but include all the modern conveniences of home, with electric, city water, heat and A/C, free WiFi, and TV!

The property is located adjacent to Lighthouse Park, and we have beautiful views of the Pte. Aux Barques Lighthouse as well as breathtaking sunrises and sunsets to be enjoyed with the relaxing sound of gentle waves.

We had a great time
Familiar with the area and this is a great property. Highly recommend it. Just booked again with my two younger sons for later this year. Enjoyed the many beaches, piers, lighthouses as well as Sleeper State Park. Fished all week off the back deck and caught some nice ones on nightcrawlers. Can't wait to listen to the waves again in the evening cooking hotdogs over the firepit. - Kip

Just past the tip of the thumb are the Lighthouse Keeper’s cabins… a magical location for dark night skies, incredible sunrises and spectacular views to beautiful Port Aux Basques lighthouse.

The pictures don’t do the views justice. The lake is beautiful and the deck is the best place to soak in the sun and water. The cabin was well equipped and clean. It was perfect for my husband and I plus our 11 year old. We had to cut our week long trip very short due to a family emergency but we would definitely consider going back.

Absolutely beautiful water for any water sport. My husband and I floated on rafts and enjoyed the weather. The cabin was so cute . The beds were comfortable. We stayed in #7 which has a deck over the lake. I recommend these cabin for sure

We had a great time at this cozy cottage on the lake. Ryan and Candace were super accommodating - very responsive to questions about the cottage and surrounding area. The cottage was extremely clean and comfortable. Love the log cabin feel. Neighbors are close by, but the cottages are situated nicely for privacy. The Port Hope/Port Austin area is perfect for a quiet, relaxing getaway! Definitely recommend this home for rejuvenating trip!

I wish I could truly summarize our stay at this lovely cabin, but the experience itself must be had. The owners are extremely nice, and made sure we had everything we needed, and even offered suggestions for things to do in the area. Our views were amazing; looking out at the water every morning for breakfast was a favorite. Just a wonderful experience all around. I even locked us out of our cabin at one point, and the owners were able to respond immediately and saved the day! We will definitely be staying here again when the time comes. Thanks again for everything!!

Rest and relaxation
My husband and I stayed for much needed long weekend. Let me start by saying the owner's, Candace & Ryan are wonderful. No issues with communication. Our cabin was charming, kitchen had everything we needed. Very comfortable bed, the mattress was brand new. What an amazing view! We walked to the lighthouse in the evenings, the park is right door. We would definately recommend staying at one of these charming cabins.
