Horrible experience
Where do I start. First of all the listing was inaccurate. Listing indicated parking for two vehicles. Posted sign indicated vehicles w/o a permit would get towed. I tried to get a hold of customer service for over 3 hours. When I finally got someone on the line they told me listing was for one car only. I specifically chose this place because my wife had to work and would be leaving early in the morning, so I checked my listing, and sure enough it said parking for two vehicles. No parking permit available. Area residents indicated their cars had been towed before so I would surely get towed. Solution I was given by Maria and Crystal from Vacasa, was to drive over the Causeway bridge to South Padre Island, five miles away and park one of the vehicles at the Vacasa office. We were allowed to park our other vehicle under one of the permanent residents car port. Horrible solution with the Memorial Day weekend traffic. Secondly, internet UN and password given to us was incorrect, so we had no access to internet. Thirdly, we were not given access code to enter the pool. fourth, we had to go to Walmart and buy a hair dryer, because there was no hair dryer as indicated on the listing. Lastly, I had to end my trip a day early so that I wouldn't have to wake up the entire family at 5 in the morning the following day to take my wife to pick up the vehicle at the Vacasa office. Overall, this was a horrible experience and the amenities/services listed were not provided.
