Nestled on the edge of the Withlacoochee River & Forest it is supplied with everything! Even a toothbrush....just in case.
JUST BRING ENOUGH FOOD FOR YOUR GETAWAY!
Whether your stay is 2 days or 2 months the bedding is changed down to the mattress and pillow covers. Pillows are sanitzed high heat full cycle. We are Premier Hosts and your comfort is our priority.

For those who enjoy outdoor activities it's all in the backyard.
There are canoes, kayaks, a paddle boat and 4 bicycles your enjoyment. A trolling motor, marine battery and some fishing poles, too.
A gas grill on the deck and a charcoal grill for the riverside.
Fresh condiments in the fridge. Coffee, tea, sweeteners, paper plates. Lots of wood for the firepit and marshmallows for roasting.
Dreamcatcher Cottage has been a romantic escape for many couples. It has served as a retreat for nature lovers, artists & photographers, Mom & Daughter get togethers, Girlfriend Getaways and, a winter refuge for our Snowbirds who love to snuggle by the cozy fireplace.
Let us know if you have a special occasion and would like it to be a surprise. We will be happy to put up some banners. Free of charge, of course!!
DVDs, videos and games in the fun room. We have popcorn 🍿 for you too!!
Family Friendly local restaurant within walking distance if desired. Entertainment on Friday & Sunday.
Rails to Trails is right up the road. It is a 46 mile paved, shady until around noon, trail for walking, jogging, biking, roller blading.
Dave, is a Trail Master and can direct you to hiking the local Florida Trails. There are pamphlets in the Funroom.
Horseback riding also available close by.
I-75 is a just minutes away and will take you to numerous activities & adventures.

Relaxed Vacation Time
This was our second week-long stay at the lovely Dreamcatcher Cottage. The Cottage was just as expected: clean, comfortable, and peaceful, with considerate and thoughtful hosts nearby if needed to support our stay. We come to this area primarily to ride the Withlacoochie Trail on our tandem, and it is a short ride from the home to the Trail, about a half-mile. A shed is provided for bicycle storage. We just settle in to the home with our groceries and enjoy our rides, cooking our meals and sitting on the deck or by the river, watching birds and squirrels and listening to sounds from the river. A firepit and wood is provided for your use, as well as bicycles and kayaks and canoes and a paddleboat. A wide variety of books and movies and music are available in the home. For us, it is a haven. We enjoy our stays here and would happily return again and again.

Beautifully appointed cottage
A lovely, quiet place in a rural setting with access to great bike trails and river for kayaking. Bikes and kayaks included. This was most enjoyable and relaxing. Local parks and state forest trails nearby. The cottage is beautifully decorated and has books, games, videos, puzzels. Very, very nice.

Nature in your backyard!
This was our second year here and it felt good to be "home"! This VRBO is very clean and you have everything you need. We enjoyed the bicycles, kayaks, and canoe and watching the birds off the deck. The hosts are friendly and very helpful.

Perfect nature weekend
The property is beautiful and meticulously put together with the guest in mind. We were cheerfully greeted by the owner with a short lowdown of the area. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday, and were blessed with a birthday banner and birthday napkins in our cabin when we checked in. We fished the whole weekend and caught a few fish. We took a five hour canoe ride and the scenery was stupendous. We had lunch on the river between casts for fish. It was definitely a weekend to remember. Charming and cozy
The Dream Catcher Cottage was absolutely delightful. Super Clean, cozy, and comforting. The cottage was enchanting , well stocked and Patti and Dave were very responsive and gracious hosts There were kayaks, canoes, a paddle boat and bicycles! Plenty of fire wood for the fire pit and S’more ingredients compliments of these lovely hosts! Lots of beautiful cardinals to view from the most comfortable deck. Five stars all the way!

Very clean and pleasant little cottage. Had everything we needed and then some. Had a very relaxing stay, fishing, painting, and enjoying the all the birds in the back yard. The river was beautiful, caught a few fish, and even saw an otter. The hosts Dave and Patty were available if needed and very nice. We loved our stay.

Wonderful cottage
Better than we expected. Very clean, well equipped and decorated so cute. My sister and I were having our Sister Sabbatical and this cottage was absolutely perfect. The riverfront was serene and peaceful and the enclosed porch offered an amazing view of the river. We hope to return!

The property was great! We went for a relaxing weekend getaway. The home was clean and well stocked. The backyard was beautiful with easy water access. We tried out the paddle oat, fished, kayaked and even rode on the bike trail which was beautiful and an easy ride to from the house. The restaurant down the street was great and just like the description says, within walking distance. There isn't a grocery really close but we brought everything we needed. Nature Lovers Paradise
My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend. Dave and Patti the property owners were so very helpful and thought of everything we could want/need. We enjoyed being on the river and watching the birds and we even saw some otters one evening. They provided kayaks and a paddle boat to use while staying there and we used them to travel further up the river. We also used the bike trail which is within walking distance and saw deer, gopher tortoise, owls, rabbits, turkeys, a corn snake, a fox, and so many different birds. They also have tons of hiking trails in the area, so we took advantage of that as well. We will definitely be back.

This property was exactly as advertised, and was just what we were seeking. The location of the cottage was itself an outdoor destination, on the river. It was easy to access the Withlacoochee Trail, and our stay was pleasant and relaxing. Cleanliness was outstanding, the Dreamcather Cottage was amazingly well-stocked with basic and luxury items. Patti and Dave welcomed us and were most hospitable. We would be very happy to return again and again.
