My husband & I are loving our first stay in Portland, ME at the Cambria Hotel Downtown Portland! We have a beautiful room and we enjoyed cocktails at the outdoor firepit before having a wonderful dinner at Alto, the hotel restaurant. This is a destination we cannot wait to return to!

The two queen suites are very spacious plus we liked having a refrigerator, mini kitchen and coffee machine. Well located as it’s within walking distance of the wharf area, shops and many of the old port attractions. We were fortunate to get a free all day parking spot directly across the road and there seemed to be other spots available in other nearby streets. Better than paying $40 a day for valet parking.

New hotel. Comfortable beds. Walking distance to everything. Did not like the $25 per room surcharge that you must use in hotel amenities or lose it. Nor the $40 per day valet parking. I found a street spot. Otherwise, nice place.

Stayed based on a recommendation. Close to everything in Old Port. Only thing I dislike about newer hotels are the glass doors for the bathroom. When the lights are turned back, the whole room is lights up. Super comfy bed and nice shower.

Hotel and staff were great, good proximity to the Wharf. But $150 in Amenity fees is dumb and very misleading. If you’re going to charge more just put it in your rates. But don’t charge additional for WiFi and fitness center and coffee which are typically included in rates. That just makes people mad.
