PDX fun
We had a great visit - it was our second time staying in this complex. It’s a perfect location. The market across the street, vegan options downstairs, great coffee, 50 licks icecream, beer etc!! The bed is super squeaky - not the frame but the mattress / box spring. Sounds like bubble wrap when ever you move. Need to look under the bed too - it needs cleaned ;-)

Good place
Everything was really cleaning and the location was amazing. The only thing that need some work is the bed. When ever you move it makes a lot of noise. Other than that I would definitely stay there again in the future

I should have read the reviews
0 stars- The place smells like mold, the heat was completely turned off, when we arrived at our Valentine's celebration, the place was freezing and it took forever to warm up. The bed takes most of the tiny rooms space. it's not a large bed either, the room is just way too small, we had no room to move around the bed on either side, the bed makes noise every time you move, it's not a faint noise either, we didn't slept a full night on our three night stay. The description also says it sleeps 4. There's that one squeaky bed and a tiny old couch that should be thrown away. The picture on the listing is no where near the actual condition of the couch we had to sit on. My question is, where does two additional people can sleep in this place! The description also mentions that a BBQ grill was available, yes I do like to grill even on the snow, this is one of the options I read that moved me to book the place. The number one reason why I decided to book this place was due to the description and the additional cost we paid to have a view to the Fremont bridge. Yes, we paid extra to book this room for our Valentines so we can have a special stay with a romantic experience with so so we can have a special stay with a romantic experience with the view to the Fremont bridge. Well, there are two buildings in front of this unit block the view. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!!

Noisy bed
The bed is so noisy every time you sit, move or turn. So my husband decided to sleep on the sofa instead. There is no onsite parking as per listing but the other option is terrible. We drove around for 45 mins till we found an available street parking spot that’s within a 5 mins walk. There is a fee to park from 9a-6p. Other parking options are 5-10 minutes DRIVE. What’s left of the washer “start” button is a “hole” so we couldn’t wash our clothes. Other than that, there are restaurants close by so we didn’t have to drive and have to deal with parking more than once a day.

No communication
Upon check in followed instructions and key was not there. Was approached by a man out of breath, said he just finished cleaning the apartment. Was surprised as check out is at 10 am and this was 405 pm. Stayed at property, blinds would not close. Called and asked to fix it. They told me someone would call that was local to come fix it. I never heard from anyone. Very bright at 5 am. Stayed here for 4 days and no response.

Overall great stay on Quimby!
Great communication and easy check in. The suite was clean and quiet. Great location! I would rate it a 4.5 if I could. Only downside was limited linens (ie dishtowels, bathmat, bedding for pull out couch). But overall, an amazing place and stay! Thank you!

Great Apartment but needs a bit of love
The apartment building was great. Cute and convenient coffee shot in the lobby. The apartment itself was nice but needs a bit of love; the couch was dirty and worn and the walls could use a coat of paint. The bed was pretty comfortable. All in all though good stay in a comfortable apartment.

a miserable experience
I will never again rent a place that involves Vacasa or VRBO. They totally mispresented the place where I stayed. It does NOT have 2 beds and does NOT sleep 4, unless 2 of them are dwarves or children under 5. THERE IS NO SECOND BED. There’s a sofa, and it’s not a fold-out sofa; IT’S JUST A SOFA. And there was no linen on it or near it when I checked in at midnight. I eventually took linen off the other bed and used it on the sofa. I did not sleep well, and the next day my back hurt. Oh, and by the way, the floor is solid CEMENT. Lovely. And oh, by the way, the refrigerator drones loudly from time to time, so you have that to look forward to as well as you’re sleeping on the sofa. And oh, I should also mention that there is huge building going up across the street, and construction work begins each morning about 7:30. But don’t worry! They’re just starting on the basement, so they should be finished in no time, 2025 at the latest. Finally, when I called Vacasa to complain, the agents tried to be helpful but all of them failed to find me a better unit. One had me on hold on and off for 45 minutes. Then we got cut off. In conclusion, AVOID VACASA LIKE THE PLAGUE! I sure will.

Great location
It’s a tiny apartment but just the right size for 2-3 people. It was very clean and in a Fantastic location. We had no problem finding street parking & if you don’t mind walking a few blocks you can find free all day parking. Lots of restaurants nearby & walking distance to Powells.

A wonderful short stay
Overall our stay was lovely. The location is absolutely perfect and in walking distance to many bars and restaurants. The New Seasons across the street was very convenient for quick store trips. We also enjoyed spending time on the balcony soaking in the sun and doing some people and puppy watching. The only down side was that while cooking we found quite a few dirty dishes in the cupboards. While taken aback, we absolutely understand things can get missed while cleaning and we simply loaded dirty things we found into the dishwasher. The building had some construction going on at the time of our stay so mornings and afternoons were a bit noisy, but nothing we couldn't handle. At one point during our stay there was some commotion outside our door and Vacasa was quick to send us a text reminding us it was quiet hours. I messaged Vacasa back stating we were not making the ruckus as we were in bed at the time. I didn't hear back and things in the building quieted down shortly after that. Despite those few things, I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Amazing View and Great Location
This property had an awesome view and was in a great location - close to everything and walking distance to a grocery store. The only issue I had was the bed, it creaked (almost sounded like there was still the plastic wrapping on the mattress, I checked and there was no wrapping) anytime I moved in my sleep to the point where after the first night I moved and slept on the couch.

Great industrial property. Love the facilities and outdoor living space. Access to the unit was a bit confusing but the property manager was super responsive and helpful as were other tenants. Great spot for Portland
Property was clean, secure, and check-in to get key was automated and easy. Huge outdoor porch and couch great for lounging or napping. Large common areas in the building. Coffee shop in the building of first floor, pizza place and grocery store across the street. Property is very close to light rail and bus stops, plus tons of shopping in walking distance. Kind of wish the kitchen had a toaster? That's the only thing we wanted at out stay. Everything else seemed to be there. Highly recommend this property/rental. Portland is awesome and this is a great spot to stay.

Just say no to this unit
This unit is located across the hall from the community room. There was a loud party that lasted until midnight the first night we were there. The bedroom is small and lacks a dresser to unload your bags. Most of the electrical outlets didn't work, neither did the washer. Overall the unit was dirty and I would not recommend it.

Beautiful condo in the perfect neighborhood
Loved our stay at this condo! Clean with all the amenities you need. Vacasa made access and checkout seamless. Bed was very comfortable and we loved the porch just out of the living room. We stayed 4 nights and had a car rental. Parking was a breeze and in total we paid less than $10 the entire trip. Note: We were out and about a lot of the day time taking day trips. Loved new seasons market and all the coffee and restaurant options nearby. Lelas vietnamese was a favorite! Easy access to the highway from here and Forest Park was a 5 min. drive. We will definitely rent here again!
