We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Jaguar in Porto. The staff were kind and welcoming, especially Marta, who made our stay at the hotel a great experience and even provided helpful advice in touring the city. The hotel room was very nice and clean. This is the hotel to stay in when visiting Porto.

For a place that advertises free airport shuttle service, they were not willing to offer this service for my 7am flight to Lisbon. Overlooked the hotel being outside of the primary area you’d want to stay in in Porto to not have to worry about airport pick up/drop off and yet I had to anyway. I message them prior and conveniently they stopped answering once I told them my flight was at 7am. So I didn’t have time to cancel and rebook elsewhere without cancellation charges. Close to metro but you’re a good 45 minute walk uphill from Centro Historico. Area around hotel is graffiti and run down. Cleanly hotel is what it has going for it.

Nice hotel, great service
Hotel was very nice, room comfortable, but the standout feature was the service. The staff couldn’t do enough for us, advising on activities, transport and restaurants, and transport to and from the airport! The hotel is about 30 minutes walk from the centre, but metro stop is only a few minutes away.

There were a few things in our bathroom that weren’t cleaned well…for example, there was toothpaste residue on the bottom of the glass in the bathroom. The staff were very helpful and extremely friendly. The option of on site parking was appreciated. We were able to walk to the historical centre quite easily. Interesting and lovely decor. Had a great sleep in the room. Quiet, cool and dark.

A true gem in Porto
We had a wonderful experience! The rooms are super nice, lots of personal touches and details, from comfy robes and slippers to welcome snacks and water. The staff is so kind and friendly, I can’t thank them enough. Parking is included which is so nice for a busy city, and they also have free shuttles to and from the airport and if available they will offer you rides to areas around the hotel, but the area is super walkable and close to the metro! our family stayed there at the beginning of our week long trip then towards the end of the trip we went back because they loved it so much! We will keep going back because it was all amazing!

Perfect location and good service
Booked this hotel for my parents due to the easy access to the city and airport since they’d have sometime to explore the city and have to go back to meet me at the airport. The hotel staff took care of their transportation and spoiled my parents upon arrival. My parents said everyone was so friendly and helpful and they were able to walk to the city and back to the hotel via metro which was really close by to the hotel. They loved it so much that we booked again as a family for the last days of our trip!

This is a beautiful hotel with very attentive staff. Our room exceeded our expectations with a patio where we enjoyed our welcome drink. Beds are very comfortable. The bathroom is very nice with plush robes and a very nice shower. This hotel is top notch all around.

I had a wonderful experience. The staff were polite and very helpful. I was met at the airport and drove in a their Tesla pickup car. The hotel is clean and have taken care to provide for small details like a small shoe shine stool, fruit in the room, a small nook with table and chair for writing or eating, a bathrobe, slippers, a scale in the bathroom to weigh yourself. Towels and bedsheets were crisp white and clean. Pillows were soft and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is a little outside of center city but if you want a nice place to sleep and rest this is the place to come and the prices were very reasonable. I’ve stayed at many hotels around the world and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The only thing missing was an arm chair to sit and relax but it would not have fit in the double size room I slept in. They also offer you one free drink which I did not take up on. I had dinner at their restaurant where they have a fixed menu with an option to select just the main dish (choice of meats and vegetables ) or everything with bread, cold appetizers, soup, drink and dessert for 28Euros and I selected the full menu with grilled Sea bass. It was very filling.
