Beautiful hotel with views of the Douro River. We appreciated the staff at Pestana Vintage Hotel. They went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect. They were very supportive and helpful dealing with the theft of my cell phone. We loved our beautiful room and the delicious breakfast. They even prepared a boxed breakfast for us to take with us for an early morning flight.

The pearl of Porto
Incredibly located on the riverfront, this is a splendid hotel. Since the area is pdestrian only you can't drive up to the entrance to drop off your bags but their staff happily meets you at your car and carries them for you. This is the kind of touch that gives them a "10" in my book. Lovely rooms, excellent service.

Best location in Porto on the boardwalk at the River and everything in walking distance. Super friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are ok but we spent no time in the room only to sleep and beds were very comfortable

Great, centrally located place to stay
This hotel is centrally located so once you step out the front door, you are in the middle of it all. It was great to explore Porto with this as our home base. The staff was very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. And the breakfast was very nice.

Beautiful hotel overlooking the river. We had a 2 twin room with a balcony, spacious and very comfortable. Hotel staff was helpful and hotel was walking distance to many restaurants in the heart of the city.

Very cool hotel but our room was so tiny we couldnt even have our luggage out. No desk/seating area, not even a trash can in the room other than the one in the bathroom. For a $400/nt room this was SO small. You could barely walk around the bed and the windows looked right at another building. Definitely not worth the price. Staff was nice. Buffet breakfast included was poor.

Great property right on the Douro River with views. Staff was very friendly and helpful, but seemed overwhelmed by the number of guests. For example, it took an hour and 3 phone calls to get our luggage brought up to us. Elevators are few and slow for the number of guests, so long wait times. Room and view were beautiful.
