Terrible condition of the bathrooms. Bedrooms are not comfortable. There aren't nobody from staff to help us with any need.

Old, dirty, mattresses thin as a sheet of paper, you could literally feel the wood boards underneath so it was basically like sleeping on a board of wood. Shower curtains full of black mould, room full of spider webs and spiders, felt like wasn’t looked after in a long time. Quite far from the city. To get to the tram stop you have to climb a very very steep hill, which needless to say gets you out of breath. Just overall disappointing, but I gues you get what you pay for

The location was good- a few miles away from the centre. The room was basic. The shower leeked under the door ontothe carpet and left a funny smell in the room.

Major recommendation disappointment
This is a youth hostel and without a bath in the room and not elevator. We would not stay in this kind of accommodation recommended by Expedia who sold me a one way airfare for two of us from Vienna to Prague on Austrian Air for $589.20 that charged us $100 for two bags and a $70 Travel Guard policy that I understood was for the initial round trip flight from Denver to Prague that did not have insurance. I am finished with Expedia and the organization needs to better understand your customer's requirements if you want any business.

The staff at the hotel well lack of staff was a joke, when we went to check into the hotel it was around 7:30 the signs and on the emails stated someone would be at reception until 21:00 that was not the case. When I went to check us in I rang the number it said if we needed any help the girl on the other end of the phone was rude, unhelpful and disrespectful. She stated to me she didn’t care and didn’t know what I wanted her to do, she told me I was not in my country anymore to which I was dumbfounded by. It was the last thing I expected to happen when we were paying guests at this hotel I had my Mum with me as it was a gift I was left embarrassed by how disgraceful and rude she was. And when we went to check out it stated to put our room key cards into a box there was the same girl sat at reception she didn’t even look up to say anything to us, my mum said thank you as she put her room key into the box and was completely ignored. The rooms never once were cleaned the whole week we were there, the beds were only made each day because we made them, we had no toiletries like promised on their and yours websites, we had to use the same towel everyday which is unhygienic. Where it stated past 11pm people were to be quiet they weren’t, plates were being moved about at 6am in the morning. There was no air conditioning, one window and we had one pillow to the bed. In order to get to the tram station we had to hike up a hill to get to it, not good at all.

Cheap hotel close to prague 1
Overall the hotel is decent for the little price that was paid for your stay. Usually the staff are kind and helpful with any questions you have. They sell you food for quite cheap in either euros or Czech koruna. There is also a shop 10 minutes walk from the hotel. When cleaning in the mornings they came into the room to change the bins but they didn't change the sheets or covers on the beds at all while we were there. We also left food in out room that we bought and it was missing when we got back to the hotel in the evening. But overall it's easy access to places like prague castle and the petrin tower.

Decent hotel, beds are cozzy!
Not happy with the bathroom, but beds are cozzy! Room smelled really good! Not bad for what i paid. I would definitely stay here again. 10-15 min drive from old town square (downtown). Take UBER, it is really cheap! I used UBER all the time to move from some landmarks to others, and each ride was like $5 dollars. Loved Prague!

Cheap and do-able
The hostel was everything you could want from a 7 euro per night (with breakfast included) place to stay. It was typical of something cheap and a little further back from the old city. However, I did not expect five star so I was okay with that. Was good enough for what I wanted.

Not a hotel!
The name is misleading, they call themselves a hotel but this is a hostle. We got a private room and as soon as we walked in, we were disappointed in it. We decided to take a look at the facilities and the moment we saw the state of the bathroom and shower we decided to check out and get another place. The shower stalls are filled with dirt and grime. I wouldn't step in there even with shoes on. The toilets were disgusting as well. In the women's bathroom, one stall was missing a toilet seat while the other stall was missing the handle to flush. The whole thing was very surprising to us because when you arrive, the outside looks really nice. There is a beautiful tree with pink flowers on it, the entrench has a cool blackboard that welcomes you in, the lady that checked us in was incredibly nice, it was a shock to see that the rest of the space did not match up.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed
Our stay was bad.Dirty rooms, dirty bed sheet and pillow cover with yellow stains. We had a sink and tap in the room but was unserviseble due to a leak. On friday night after 23:00 was very very noisy with drunk people in th rooms and partying inspite the hotel notification about silent time. Toilets and bathrooms were shared but that was not the problem, the problem was the extremely dirty tiolets and bathrooms and on bathroom bassins and sinks water drainage was so slow or even choked. Breakfast was not good. The good point was the location which was 2 metro stations far from downtown.

Cheap hostel
I stayed in this hostel because I was in a budget and I was positively surprised with what I got for the price I paid. You do have to take the tram or metro to get to the city center but the rooms were comfortable and the kitchen was good. I didn't meet many people, though, it was mostly locals that were there for business staying in my dorm.

You get what you pay for
I had a very good time staying at Discounts hotel - you get what you pay for. Its cheap, the staff are very friendly and helpful (but are only available from 9 am-9pm). Only downside is the distance from the city - a good half an hour or more by public transport, and no shops nearby either. The hostel itself sells some minimal food and drink but nothing more. The place is clean enough and the neighborhood is peaceful.
