Full house in PdC w/ large deck - only blocks from downtown & the Mississippi!

Our home is newly renovated with an open concept main level indoors and a stellar outdoor entertainment area. It is located just 2 blocks from the heart of downtown Prairie du Chien and less than a .5 mile from the Mississippi River which allows ease of walking to and from local destinations. Unwind on the large private deck, relax in front of the electric fireplace, or watch the big game on the flat-screen TV! The kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you need to whip up a home cooked meal (outdoor gas grill also at your disposal). The large island counter makes chopping and other prep easy, while you'll have all the essential kitchenware needed such as plates, glasses, and silverware for 12. You’ll have all the pots/pans, cookware and utensils needed for an enjoyable stay. There’s also a coffee maker, a toaster, microwave, stove and dishwasher. Also included are a bottle opener, corkscrew, dish-soap, dish towels, etc. Along with the laundry amenities located on the main level of the house (detergent provided).
This vacation home offers an incredible opportunity to enjoy the Driftless area. This destination is a great place for a family get-together, couples get-away or friends weekend with or without children. This area is known for lots of outdoor fun including boating, unlimited recreational activities, hunting, fishing, historical landmarks, and entertainment. The town holds a wide range of historic landmarks to see and tour, such as the Villa Louis, Fort Crawford Museum and Dousman House. All located on the scenic island next to the Mississippi River. Visit close by parks for hiking at Pikes Peaks state park, Effigy Mounds, and Wyalusing State park.
Spend a day on the river, touring the downtown shops, visiting historic sites, parks, restaurants, nightlife, and more. No matter what time of year you're visiting, there is plenty to do. Fall is such a beautiful time of year to view breathtaking foliage along with the colorful bluffs. Take advantage of the beautiful fall colors and local apple orchards. Set a tee time at one of the 2 golf courses within 8 miles – Prairie du Chien Country club 18-hole course or Barnyard 9 a par 3 nine hole course. If you visit downtown bars and restaurants in the summer, you're bound to hear some great live bands or spend your Thursday night at Music in the Park while you enjoy live music along the river.
Guest access
Enter through the front door with contactless keypad entry (passcode given day of check-in). Guests may utilize the outdoor patio/entertainment area and amenities including: outdoor lounging area, grill, and fire pit. There is off street parking all year long, but remember to utilize the alternate side parking in the winter months (November through March). Guests with boats (flat bottom or v-bottom) may park them in the back, directly next to the garage. YouTube Live TV is offered along with WiFi access.

Fun weekend getaway in PDC.
We ( 3 couples ) had a great time here in the Fuller house. Plenty of room for all of us to hang out inside and outside on the deck. Very clean inside and the kitchen has everything you need. Only disappointment was there wasn't another bathroom on the second floor. But we were all able to get by with the one on the main floor. Beds are super comfy! Close to downtown also, very walkable and safe. Thank you for the refreshments ! We will be back again for sure. Mike & Michele Leonard & guests.

Tyler was very helpful in helping us find places to eat and things to do. He is responsive and kind. Unfortunately, we visited PDC during a flood so we didn’t get to see some of the sites. Walking downtown is nice and people are friendly. Our only “complaint”? Was the number of air fresheners in the house - we moved them to the back porch and that was helpful. Thanks Tyler!

Hidden gem in PDC!
Prairiedice was great for our holiday weekend visit to Prairie du Chien. The house was nicely remodeled, beds were very comfortable, and the open floor plan on the main floor provided a lot of space for our 3 and 4 year old children to play. We also had plenty of space to sit and visit with my Dad and stepmom when they came over. The insert fireplace made the space feel very cozy. Great place all around.

Girls Weekend Getaway
We found the home and the area to be a perfect place for a Girls Weekend. The house is beautifully decorated and very clean. There is much to do in the town of Prairie du Chien and the surrounding area. The host's communication was timely and helpful. The welcome "treats," oatmeal, and fruit were a nice tough. We also appreciated having a coffee pot (instead of a Keurig) and the coffee provided. We would definitely consider staying there again.

We rented out Fuller house for our wedding weekend in Prairie du Chien, and we had the absolute BEST experience! The house itself was beautiful, clean, and very spacious for my bridal party to get ready. The hosts were very accommodating and patient with responses. They even left a little “welcome gift” 🥰 100/10 recommend. We can’t wait to rent it out next summer to enjoy the BEAUTIFUL backyard set up! We were in town for a wedding and decided to rent a house instead of pay for multiple hotel rooms. House was clean, the welcome items were a nice touch. It was nice to have a place close to downtown and to be able to relax in our down time. Only regret is we didn’t get to use the backyard like we would have liked. Such a cool place.
