Little Lynx Cottage - a Retreat in the Pines

After a day of hiking, fishing, kayaking, mountain biking, splashing in Lynx Creek (seasonal) or strolling by the many shops and restaurants along historic Whiskey Row you can come back to a private oasis and relax.

This spacious studio cabin provides ample room to get comfy with a queen bed and sitting area both within view of the smart TV and fireplace while the windows provide views of the trees and a beautiful cross-breeze.

Planning to workcation? You will find the dinning room table to be a great workspace with wifi.

When it's time for dinner either grill the fish you caught at Lynx Lake on the propane BBQ or use the microwave and hot plate to cook inside and enjoy an intimate meal for two in your cozy getaway.

Other Things to Note:
You will have the entire Little Lynx Cottage to yourself with the exception of one locked closet. With over 500 sq ft of indoor space and a deck to enjoy that spectacular view. The cottage is in the back corner of the property and faces away from the main house for privacy. The main house, Lynx Lodge can be rented out (depending on availability) allowing for a total of 16 guests.

Cell Phone Service: Service is spotty at best but the internet signal is strong so you can easily make wi-fi calls. Just go into your phone's settings, and turn on wi-fi calling - it's that easy.

Workcation: Little Lynx Cottage is equipped with high speed wi-fi and a table to comfortably work.

Accessibility: There are steps to enter the home.

Late Fall/Winter Stays: Little Lynx Cottage turns into a winter wonderland. We suggest that you drive a 4x4 vehicle to access the property during this time.

Safety: The cottage has a smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector and fire extinguishers located inside and outside of the home for your safety. The fire station is a mile down the road. The property is meticulously maintained, and the interior is professionally cleaned and checked before each guest to ensure a comfortable and healthy stay.

Fires: Wood campfires are prohibited. The gas fireplace is temporarily unavailable. Wildfires and prescribed burns happen from time to time. Please check the City of Prescott's website for the most current information.

It was our first time renting a Abnb and one of the best best experiences ever they got you covered if you forget anything, They even give you a complimentary bottle wine thank you very much but it’s been 7 years since I had a drink so I left it for the next person I thought that was pretty cool So thanks again and keep up the good work and keeping a nice cozy cabin waiting for people. A Gem in the Prescott National Forest!
The Little Lynx Cottage is adorable; surrounded by tall pine trees! It has with a lovely porch with rocking chairs overlooking the trees and a small stream! It’s right off the road and just minutes from Lynx Lake! The hosts were super accommodating and communicative! We’ll definitely be back! Loved it!!

PERFECTO!!!
Everything was neat and tidy. Whatever we needed it was there! and some things we didn't need but used anyway. Like the induction portable cooktop. Great. Decor was simple but elegant. However we are not of the generation to use the tv. Take picture of --- pic ---. Too much. Didn't miss it a bit.

Windows were filthy, only way to cook was a hot plate and a unsafe grill, upon arrival I was charged double because my 1 dog was borderline with the weight restriction of 50#, while I cleaned up after my dog, I also cleaned up after the owners bull mastiff, the owners are on the property, window shade would not close, we felt like we were being watched, no tv service provided. 1 wash cloth provided for 2 people for a week, dryer did not function, dirty dishes were supplied. So uncomfortable we left 2 days early and were refunded $40. Advertised as a log cabin, actually a studio over a garage.

A Getaway by the Creek
A wonderful retreat. I enjoyed relaxing by the fireplace with a glass of wine listening to the flowing water in the creek. My husband enjoyed sitting outside on the porch in the rocking chair. Cottage had all the requirements we needed for a peaceful weekend. We also enjoyed the relative distance of Prescott Valley. Close enough for access to shops, but far enough to enjoy the forest. Host was great with direction and any need we had. Everything from start to end was very simple and easy, no stress in booking this little cabin by the creek. We would definitely recommend this cabin and we are planning to come by in the summer. Thank you Anthony

Lovely little retreat in nature
Very peaceful and relaxing stay. I was able to even see some deer while I was sitting on the porch with my dog. They were grazing around the nearby creek. Hosts were friendly and accommodating. Hope to return again.

Wonderful! So peaceful and relaxing.
This location was a haven for us. The trees, the stream on the property, the quietness, the hike into the forest right outside the door, being close enough to town but far enough away to feel secluded, being right off a quiet, paved road...simply beautiful. The cabin was lovely and clean. The host was very accommodating and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect and set up for us honeymooners. We highly recommend this location and this host and would definitely stay here again if we have the chance.

Such a beautiful little cabin with a great patio overlooking a creek. So clean and comfortable perfect cabin in the woods. Easy to access off the main road. About 15 minutes to everything. Loved this place!

Beautiful Cabin by the Creek
We had a wonderful time. The host was very responsive, everything was easy. The Cabin is warm and cozy and has a beautiful creek running below. It would have been easy to spend the entire three days without leaving the cabin. I hope to visit again.

Lynx Cottage Hide-a-Way
We chose this place because of the location in a beautiful pine forest and cottage description. Everything was what we expected and was perfect. The cottage interior was very cute and exactly like the photos. There is a window that overlooks the stream below and the porch has 2 rocking chairs we enjoyed very much. We even saw a group of about 40 turkeys on the property one morning. The hike at Lynx Lake was amazing. The host was very responsive and available to answer any questions. Overall we felt like we were in a secluded location but only about 25 minutes from town. Awesome experience!!

Long Overdue Getaway
We absolutely LOVED this stay. Anthony is a top notch host who thinks of everything to ensure you have the most memorable stay. The cabin is absolutely stunning!! It was very hard to leave. The beauty, peace and quiet and just overall setting. My husband said it was like only something you see in a good movie or a postcard.
