Budget hotel in Zicatela. It was a great stay
Hotel in a great, safe, very commercial area just across from Zicatela beach. This beach is mainly for surfers because of high waves, but it is a short walk from the main beach which is good for swimming. The hotel is nice, but it needs some maintenance here and there and some deep cleaning, but we had a very nice stay. The pool is very good and service is also great. Breakfast was also great. Parking is a very nice plus. We would stay there again

El servicio estuvo excelente, desde la gente de seguridad, recepción y restaurante muy muy amables. Las instalaciones están bonitas y los cuartos en general limpios. Solo que tuvimos un par de problemas el primer cuarto olía muy mal y nos cambiaron a otro que no le servía el aire, y literal nos dieron escoger o calor o mal olor! La zona muy céntrica, cerca de bares y restaurantes. Lo malo es que hay mucho ruido hasta las 4:00 de la mañana. Si lo que buscan es descansar no es un buen lugar.

The staff were attentive when there was water on the floor by the refrigerator. The room was clean but dated. (Bedsheets for curtains!?). The noise level on the street outside the hotel was unbearably loud all night long.

Nos encantó nuestra casa en el Arcoíris pero me decepcionó que no fuera posible tener una hamaca en nuestro balcón.

Mala experiencia para un hotel caro muy ruidoso
Reservamos la propiedad pensando que tendríamos una estancia cómoda y en cierta medida silencioso. Nada de eso, en frente del hotel están las discotecas y otros negocios que tienen la música hasta las 2.30am y es como tener 3 discotecas en la habitación. Imposible dormir y descansar! Igualmente, el rating sobre las estrellas no es Justo. La habitación es 1-2 estrella en Europa así que buscaría otras propiedades con otras características. Internet no funciona, no vale la pena ni intentarlo así que es otro servicio que no funciona. Y finalmente, el aire acondicionado y ventilador funciono muy bien. Durante el desayuno, solo estaba una chica preparando las tortillas, cafés etc para atender 6 mesas y se la espera se hacía de 45 minutos de espera. Tuvimos que ir a buscar los desayunos a la cocina para facilitar que todo fuese más rápido y poder desayunar más rápido para seguir con tus planes del fin de semana. Otra cosa buena es que tiene supermercado cerca y para alquilar motos.

Affordable no frills in a good location if you want to be close to the action. The staff was the brightest spot of my stay. It’s a cute, charming property but the rooms, especially the bathrooms could use some updating.

Hotel Arcoiris is a great spot, the hotel itself is wonderful. Rooms are large, clean and well equipped. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The wifi is crap but that's the same anywhere you go in Zicatela. Nothing wrong with this hotel... Except that it's next to clubs that start playing music at 11pm and continue all night, bass that is so loud it vibrates through earplugs. Didn't sleep for 6 nights, shame.

Great classic Spanish style property. Tired but clean with nice pool and gardens. Included breakfast was nice with views across to the beach. Sadly the non stop deep hum of base music from neighbouring bars went from 9pm to past 3am nightly. Ear plugs helped.

This hotel was really amazing. The location was perfect right on the beach with lots of places to eat nearby. The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to help. The pool is BEAUTIFUL and they let us use it after we checked out while we waitied for our transport

Nothing no air conditioning no Tv no phone drapes where see through staff wasn’t friendly at all there were tree leafs all over the place sink was cracked toilet seat all loose and staff couldn’t find my reservation because I did it with Travelocity and it was done under Expedia so not happy at all would not recommend this place.
