Stunning sea and mountain views within walking distance of the beach in a family-friendly location. Bentley Villa has a large pool with two islands, a waterfall, a hot tub, a gym, a cinema room, WIFI, and a massage table.

(POP) airport is a 30-minute drive, and we can book airport transfers.

INCLUDED IN THE PRICE is a team of friendly staff and an on-site chef who will ensure you don’t have to lift a finger during your vacation!

Unlike most rentals, we do not charge additional fees for cleaning, service, etc.

FAQS

HOW FAR IS THE VILLA FROM THE AIRPORT?

The villa is a 30-minute drive from Puerto Plata airport; transport can be arranged to pick you up with cash paid directly to the driver (as local law will not allow us to transport guests).

SHOULD I RENT A CAR?

We recommend a car rental, as although the villa is within walking distance of the beach, it can get very hot. A rental car is also an excellent idea for exploring the area, as many activities and sites keep you busy during your stay.

HOW FAR IS THE BEACH?

Cofresi Beach is just under ten minutes' walk. It is down a road with a slight slope, so if small children are in your group, we recommend driving, especially when it is sunny and hot! Sun loungers are available to rent on the beach for approximately 100/150 pesos per lounger (equivalent to around $2).

The beach has some great little restaurants and is very peaceful. It is a perfect spot for a morning coffee, afternoon beer, or a relaxing evening meal.

IS FOOD INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL?

Our villa rental does not include food. Several supermarkets are situated in the centre of Puerto Plata and offer a great selection.

We now offer a free transport service to the supermarkets for those arriving during the day. This allows for a stress-free experience so guests can focus on choosing a perfect menu.

We offer a traditional Dominican meal upon arrival for a fee of USD 10 per person.

DO I NEED TO DO ALL OF THE COOKING?

A cook is provided with the booking and is available from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. It is customary to prepare the main meal for lunchtime; if you would like to eat a hot meal in the evening, the cook can prepare it for you. Our sample menu features a mixture of American, English, and Dominican cuisine. Vegetarian requirements can also be catered for.

IS THE VILLA FULLY STAFFED?

Bentley Villa has excellent staff who will do their best to ensure you have a relaxing and stress-free vacation. Santa is our friendly, English-speaking villa manager. She has lovely and hard-working locally employed staff to help her during your stay. Carlos is our friendly on-site handyman. You will see him outside most days, working hard to ensure the villa is perfect.

Our staff are very professional and discreet. Your rooms will be cleaned daily, and linens will be changed weekly. Please note that we are happy to wash clothes and personal items only for guests staying one week or more.

Bathrooms are supplied with towels, washcloths, soaps, toilet paper, and a hair dryer if needed.

DO YOU HAVE WIFI?

We now have WiFi throughout the villa.

We also have a Bluetooth speaker in the main living area. Please feel free to use it whether you want to boogie in the living room or just relax by the pool.

ARE THE BEDROOMS EN-SUITE?

All the bedrooms have ceiling fans, air-conditioning and en-suite bathrooms.

IS THERE ANY SECURITY?

Our night watchman, Santiago, arrives every evening and guards the premises. We also have security cameras at the front of the villa for extra safety. There is a safe in the main bedroom on the ground floor if you need to lock up any valuables. We ask that you lock all windows and doors while away from the villa and at night, as you would in your own home.

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED?

Children are always welcome! The villa has an indoor and outdoor staircase leading to the pool area and gym, so please bear this in mind when booking with small children. If you need a cot or crib, please message us in advance.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

Unfortunately, we cannot control the weather! Bentley has a cinema room and hot tub, unlike the other villas in Puerto Plata. The cinema has a variety of films, and it is the perfect time to try out the popcorn machine!

We have a massage table used by our amazingly talented masseuse, Raquel. She also does fantastic manicures and pedicures. Santa can show you her treatment/price list and book a time for her to visit the villa that is convenient for you.

CAN I BRING BACK A GUEST/VISITOR?

We have a strict visitor policy. Only those whose names are on the booking are allowed on the premises. This is for the safety of our guests and staff. Our night watchman, Santiago, will ensure unauthorised guests cannot access the villa.

CAN WE USE BENTLEY VILLA FOR AN EVENT/PHOTOSHOOT/FILMING LOCATION?

Bentley Villa can be used for photoshoots, filming and special events. Please message us for a quote with details of your brief.

DO I NEED TO LEAVE A TIP?

As in Canada and the USA, leaving a 10% tip (of the booking total) at the end of your stay is customary. The amount you tip is discretionary, and for excellent service, but please remember the staff work hard to ensure you have a perfect holiday :)

The view from this beautiful property cannot be beat! The house is totally condusive to large groups and gives everyone plenty of space. The double living area lends itself for big families, such as ours.The staff was incredible, always keeping a low profile, as to not be in the way, though, there should you need anything. Deona, our cook went out of her way to be sure all needs were met for all ! Cannot say enough about how cariing everyone was to ensure a wonderful stay.

Exceptional Stay at Bentley Villa – A Slice of Paradise and a Dream Come True in the DR!
We had the most incredible stay at Bentley Villa! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms by our fantastic staff, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. Santa, the House Manager, welcomed us with a warm smile and a beautiful spirit. Dioma, the personal chef, was a culinary magician! Her creativity and skill in the kitchen surpassed any dining experience I've had globally. Rosabel, the Head Housekeeper, (along with her amazing team members Senobia and Yuderka), went above and beyond to make our stay perfect, even taking the time to redo my braided hairstyle to “camera-ready” perfection. Carlos, our handyman, was a true lifesaver. Whenever something went wrong, he had it fixed in a matter of hours. Santiago provided us with peace of mind, ensuring our safety from sundown to sunup. For a group of women traveling together, his presence was a major key to our sense of security and allowed us to enjoy our stay fully. Be prepared for the occasional glitch or mishap: the refrigerator went out – but it was replaced by the next day & the internet is unstable and unreliable so bring a personal hotspot if you need to work. As guests who were only looking to relax and enjoy our vacation; we rolled with any hiccup. the wonderful staff at Bentley Villa will handle any issues with courtesy, kindness, and professionalism. We can't wait to return!

Paradise in Puerto Plata!!!
My family and I had an amazing stay at the villa. The home was just as pictured and advertised. We loved the pools, games room and space. The staff were professional, friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Most did not speak English but tried to communicate through translation apps on smart phones. Note that all the bedrooms had AC units, however the common areas did not.

Excellent vacation home with fabulous staff
Bentley Villa is a wonderful home with a fantastic staff. I secured the reservation to celebrate a milestone birthday with a group of my closest family and friends. We thoroughly enjoyed being able to spread out and have plenty of room to gather together or have privacy when needed. The pool and views are absolutely stunning! And the house manager and staff were phenomenal. They made sure that we were well cared for. It was such a treat to wake up to fresh coffee and home cooked meals daily. I highly recommend this property to anyone who would like to have a relaxing vacation in a beautiful setting. Bentley Villa is absolutely on my list for a return trip in the future.

Our trip was a huge success, the staff was incredible, the house was beautiful. We had 9 people in our party and every one enjoyed the home and all the room. The food that was prepared was the best food I have had in a long time, we even asked for the recipes of several dishes so we could try and duplicate the taste. Santa and the entire staff were lovely and very accommodating. The views were incredible and honestly the pictures don't even compare to the real experience. If you don't rent this home you will be sorry it was unbelievable!!!

A Royal Experience
From arrival to departure, our family was treated like royalty by the staff. The staff are so attentive and willing to meet all of your wants and needs. Santa the house manager was able to be reached 24/7. She even went out and got our little picky eaters pizza. The food prepared was portioned perfectly and tasted as if we were dining in a 5 star restaurant in the comfort of our own home. The villa was immaculate. Night security was so friendly. Carlos even climbed up a tree to get my kids some coconuts to try. Can’t wait to return next year. We will all miss the kind staff. Our family had a wonderful week-long visit to Bentley Villa. The views, space and staff are wonderful. Plenty of room to gather for meals, lounge in the hot tub, and on the porch -- and the staff is truly incredible. They are delightful -- the best part of the trip -- and prepare wonderful breakfast and local dishes for dinner each night. We will always remember this time together and a wonderful holiday.

I came across this listing and decided to book for a surprise birthday celebration for my husband in which friends would be joining us. Glen was fantastic in responding, helping get us set up, and answering all questions. The house is accurately represented by the pictures - what you see is not what you get... it is absolutely all of that and MORE. Pretty sure we took over 20 pictures of the view(s) bc it was amazing. The house staff were all very kind, helpful and amenable to everyone - they were great. I also recommend getting a variety of options and letting the chef be creative - that was one of our favorite meals! I would 10:10 recommend the location and experiences! The only thing I would say to be mindful of is that cash is the mode of preferred payment for almost everything. Granted there are ATMs available, and I would recommend come prepared (even for excursions) with cash for greater ease! Thanks Glen for a great experience - it exceeded expectations for all of us!

The BEST Experience
I couldn’t have asked for a better temporary home. We were greeted and treated with love the entire stay. Glen was extremely helpful with my many questions before we even arrived and assisted immediately with any questions/concerns. Santa was AWESOME and made sure we were happy before leaving the villa each day. The staff prepared the BEST food and our excursion driver Quintino escorted us wherever we wanted to go. My family of 9 insisted we come back to Bentley Villa only each time we visit DR. So much love, fun, and happiness was shared in the villa being my family came from numerous places across the USA. My family and I had a wonderful time at the Bentley!!! The villa is beautiful. Each bedroom has it's own bath. The pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. Gorgeous views from both! The service staff were amazing!! All of them were very nice. Santa is extremely helpful with any extra needs. She even ran to the pharmacy for us one day. We loved our stay!!!

This villa is even better than promised. All the public rooms lived up to the pictures, but the bedrooms were more spacious and well appointed than I was expecting. The staff was helpful and entirely unobtrusive. They left delicious meals in the oven for us every evening. Carlos emptied and cleaned the hot tub every single day. We found the Dominican taxi drivers, Covid testers and excursion leaders punctual and professional. The only drawbacks were out of the homeowner's control -- barking dogs at night, music from another villa, and a trash-strewn public beach. But there was a cleaner beach nearby, as well as excellent bars and restaurants. As someone else said, it was like stepping out of your life for a spell.

Family Vacation
This was our first big family vacation and our experience with the entire staff was amazing. Santa was so nice and very helpful with everything. She really made sure we felt at home. The house was so beautiful inside and out the views were amazing something we will never forget. And the best part of the house was our chef. She made everything with so much flavor and love. All of her dishes left of wanting more and more and she was super nice. Best trip by far and i definitely cant wait to come back and spend our vacation with these amazing people. Thank you again

Property was great, we needed a house with 7 bedrooms for 10 adults and one infant, and this house did not disappoint. Everyone was happy with the pool, the patio areas to sit on, and the movie room was a big hit. House was a little bit out of the way, but google maps took us there without an issue. The bedrooms were spacious and the listing was very accurate. What really made this house was the staff- they were all great and extremely helpful, and went out of their way for our group. The staff cooked most of our meals, and the meals were very good! I highly recommend this property.

Overall the stay was great the staff made all the difference. The food and attentiveness were excellent. The house Manager Santa was very helpful. We would definitely recommend staying here. do note the beach is not walking distance however the house has breath taking ocean views

We all had a great time at the Bentley Villa. The staff was great. The view was amazing..
I will return. We had an amazing vacation. The best view I've even seen. Santa was superb. The villa was very clean. The food was great. Overall 5 stars.....
