Friendly staff, great location. We loved breakfast at the Vela Food Hall, all the employees were nice and happy to see us every morning. Good food for dinner's time... The hotel lacks so many amenities and dining options. Inconsistent schedule and too many things you have to pay for. The only thing great were the staff. The waiter Bryan from Suna restaurant and entertainment and pool staff. Without them it would have been a horrible vacation! Alan and his team are the best thing from the hotel.

The restaurants are good and staff are super helpful and friendly. The beach bar staff is amazing! Kudos to kayaking staff, Isareal, super friendly and accommodating. We did a beach 1 hr spa, absolutely love it! The hotel facility is nice, a bit dated, but still comfortable and decent. WiFi is often down. The concierge service is useless. Edson has a bad attitude, but Juan is super helpful!

Rooms need lots of improvements. Bathrooms must have exhaust fans, that’s why most of the bathrooms have mold and discolouration of ceilings. Ac systems are dated, controls only work on two settings. Shower was hot water only. We had to change two rooms due to the condition of the rooms. Front desk staff service varied by person. Tip culture is also grown in the store, you can see behaviour changes if you do not tip. Overall, best food, drink quality was great, staff was great and mosquito bites were too many to count.

Our main concern was the housekeeping. The beds were only made once during our five-night stay. Additionally, there were too many mosquitoes; despite using an entire bottle of OFF, my son ended up with numerous bites. Despite this, I would still consider returning and recommend this place to others. However, improvements in housekeeping are necessary, especially for those with high standards or OCD. La Luca: 2 out of 5 (Poor Experience) The Vella: 5 out of 5 (Excellent) Sunan: 4 out of 5 (Great Service and Good Food) The Seasalt: 4 out of 5 (Good) Maxel: 4 out of 5 (Great Service and Good Food) The drinks were delicious, security was excellent and made us feel very safe. The beaches were pristine, and the fish were amazing. The pools were fantastic, and my son thoroughly enjoyed them. The waitstaff were friendly, approachable, and provided great service.

A decent hotel in a great location. Great beach with snorkeling and other activities . The interior of the hotel and rooms need remodeling in some places and food could be better for an all inclusive hotel but otherwise it’s a good hotel. Around 45 minutes away from the airport.

This is a great property to stay at! There are plenty of activities and lots to do just within the resort. The beach is super clean as are the facilities. Some of the rooms could use more maintenance but overall great stay. I will warn vegetarians though, the buffet had barely any vegetarian options and by day 3 I was so over it. But my husband being the meat eater he is had the time of his life! Overall great stay, will be visiting again.
