The hotel itself is showing its age, there isn’t much upkeep and it’s not big on dining options. The room had a nice ocean view, overall was nice but not something I would recommend or return to. The hotel also seems to cater more to kids and families, it’s labeled as family-friendly but the resort is focused primarily on kid activities. The music and noise are constant and does give off the feel you would expect from a Melina resort. drinks were noticeably watered down, despite being vip. Room was accidentally entered by staff, no knock, 5min after checking in with no apologies offered.

Not enough options for vegetarians - even after mentioning this before checkin and right at checkin , had to request again at lunch/dinner but didn’t get enough (they say salad is there) - looks like they don't take the request seriously.

This isn't a bad option but not a great one. The resort is conveniently located near the airport. There's only one buffet restaurant which creates long lines frequently. There's a poor selection of food which often has bad taste. The employees are very nice qnd helful albeit overworked. This is a good option to mexican resorts but doesn't stack up well against the international brands.

From beginning to end everything was fantastic. Loved the nightly entertainment. Mole y Tacos was my favorite place to eat for breakfast and dinner. The Mosaic buffet was a bit lackluster due to how much salt was in almost every bite making it unbearable. The cleanliness was great. Everything felt spotless every time we were there. Location was fantastic. Almost everything was 10-15mins away for anything and everything we did. Staff is and was superb! If we needed anything they’d make sure it would be done even if we didn’t ask for much. Always warm and welcoming. Very polite and friendly. All in all would HIGHLY recommend this resort. Family friendly or for a couple. One more thing to mention, we had an ocean view room and that was worth every penny.

Great value! Our family of 5 enjoyed it. Only wish there was a hot tub and hot water in our room for showers. Everything else was great.

The view from our room was fantabulous!!!! Loved waking up to the ocean just outside my window. The amenities were great and staff were accommodating. Nice and close to the airport and only a 20minute drive to Malecon. We would recommend to anyone!
