The hotel is very clean and staff is very attentive. The buffet is stocked with plenty of food three times per day. But be sure to get a good dinner cause you won’t find anything appetizing past 10:30. There is no music at the pools except near the kids pool. There is absolutely nothing going on past 9pm. If you only want to relax at the pool or on the beach then this is perfect for you.

I read all reviews before booking. Most of them are accurate in regards to the food. The buffet is delicious but all other restaurants within the hotel are completely awful. Washrooms around the facility are disgraceful during the day with 1000’s of visits going through them daily. These are easy things to fix but also very easy things to make your trip a little less enjoyable. Overall good memories and would visit the resort again for another great Expedia deal in savings. This is a 3 star resort at best. Don’t believe anything about a 5 star in ratings. I hope this helps.

Food quality and choices in the buffet was unusually sub standard for a Riu. Booking for dine in restaurants was horrible and forces you to not both. When we did manage to get in the quality of the meats was poor Pool was not cleaned regularly and some of the sunbeds were broken. Weve always loved the Riu brand but this one is poor
