The worst problem is that I couldn’t sleep well principally late nights and early morning because so noisy at hallways all days and nights, maybe because walls are not insulated enough to isolate noise to can rest inside rooms. Other disadvantage I saw was that the property doesn’t have elevators and imagine to be on vacations and be dealing with stairs all days, even if we are not old person it is not nice. Food in restaurants is very bad, after 3 days we decided eat in the buffet because at least you find better meat prepared just fresh.

The service was amazing. We went with little ones and the helped us with every need. The buffet had excellent service specially from Michael, he went above and beyond during our week stay. In the pool area, entertainment from Jeffery and Yohan was very fun. At the restaurant circus garden the service of Santo was superb.

The property overall is nice. The heated pools, constant shuttle service and array of activities for the children are a plus. However, cleanliness is an issue. The main dining hall by the lobby, Larimar, was disgusting. I saw a roach crawling by the hamburger station. I alerted the lady manning the station and she went to get a napkin to kill the roach as slow as possible needless to say it got away. Under the tables in the dining area are gross with crumbs, sauces and mess covered on the bottom of multiple tables. I had to ask for under the table to be swept, it was giving 5 Guys vibes. Most disturbing my son saw another roach on the last night in the same Larimar dining hall. It was the only vacation I had and I didn’t gain weight. Jose and Jesus at the Fantasia Beach Club were amazing and this eatery actual appeared to clean but who knows what was lurking behind. Housekeeping did not pay attention to detail and hotel blankets were not folded and the place was not swept or mopped.

This hotel has a lot of good potential, but unfortunately proper management is lacking. The amenities are great, the pools and kids water park are the best features, same as the beach access and accomodations. What we really dislike was the lack of good service in the restaurants. Even when having a reservation, which is required, taking our order took forever in all restaurants and getting our food took even longer. Quality of the food was average. As for the cleanliness of our room, when we first entered our room, the bathroom was dirty with soiled toilet paper And the water bottles were opened. Unfortunately we will not be coming back to this hotel. There are other better options.

Please DO NOT COME TO THIS RESORT! We are a family of 5 with 3 kids. People will booked because of the castle. Let me tell you, save your money and DO NOT BOOKED! I still don't know how they have a bunch of good reviews when a lot people complaints about the attitude all the employees have! In the morning in the buffet they run out of fruits, eggs, soda(sprite) there's no plates. You ask them and they take forever to help you IF YOU ARE LUCKY otherwise they don't care at all. Juan and Alberto made the 2 last days unforgettable and that was because I made a huge complaint. We stayed a week. We paid a lot money and just sad because it was not worth it at all. The rooms needs an upgrade asap. The resort isn't that bad but the service is horrible. I will never ever come back to this place!

I didn’t like the fact that, l came there with my one adult daughter, my teenage grandson and two young grand daughters at about 8 pm and it was raining, we checked in and was told to carry our luggages to our room on the 3rd floor by our selves. We did so under the rain and we were tired, wet, disappointed and angry to realize that there were no elevators to carry our luggages. We had to do so ourselves. We had a negative impression about customer service on our first night but over all it was ok in the coming days

Our family liked how friendly and attentive the staff were, however, the hotel needs to be remodeled. The ceilings were leaking, the bathroom needs to be done, and there were roaches in the room
