First off, id like to state the property is great and the staff is amazing outside of the front desk and how they organize their bookings. Expedia booked my stay for one person after experiencing an error with my original booking, when it was for two. The price difference was insignificant. When I get to the hotel they wanted double the amount PER DAY. 3 nights I’m literally paying half of what I originally paid. Expedia has a great relationship with this hotel, clearly, from Expedia being plastered on the front desk for VIP service. I stated my issue with the front desk and the manager still charged me the extra amount. The website stated it was my issue and didn’t do anything to resolve the issue. I understand policy and why you would charge extra for a guest, but for something that was clearly an error, and the difference in booking on the website was so small of a difference at booking their should’ve been something done to fix that. Terrible on both parties. Be careful when you book.

The property itself is beautiful and very relaxing. But for being someone who goes to all inclusive resorts, the service was a bit of a let down. The staff were unfriendly when you asked for something and even ignored you at times, making the experience unenjoyable. If you have to ask, it’s probably not the best place to be. We never had the staff asking if we needed anything, we always had to walk up and ask and would get attitude almost every time. The food was mediocre but I didn’t expect anything more from an all inclusive. I just really wish I was treated better as a guest. Honestly I wouldn’t come back.

My husband and I stayed at this resort for 5 days. We have a travel company but we consider ourselves everyday travelers and like to check out resorts and places on our own dime with no special treatment before recommending them to our clients. I would give this resort a 6.5 out of 10 and will not be returning. Here is our list of pros and cons and detailed review Pros Beautiful rooms and overall resort cleanliness Great atmosphere and activities Great general staff Smaller resort- so not too much walking Cons Time share - Very pushy and rude staff when it comes to them trying to get you to buy timeshare . A staff member introduced her self as our personal concierge after check in . Advised she will give us a tour of the resort so we know where everything is and agreed to meet at 9:30 am , we quickly realized the “tour“ was a time share presentation so we did not attend the meeting, she called our room serval times and when we came across her at breakfast. She became very angry and rude towards us when we refused the meeting, she went into a rant and raising her voice at us about how we don't know a good deal and we are stupid not to consider it because clearly we aren't well traveled, all because we said no to her meeting!. You also have several workers standing outside the breakfast area like vultures all trying to get you into doing the timeshare , you are constantly telling multiple people no, it was so bad we stopped going for breakfast

This was an amazing all inclusive ! Beautiful resort, food was great, largest swim up bar we have ever seen, very clean, beach was breathtaking and clean. Staff very nice ams professional and not pushy ! Not too crowded and great for couples!

I had an incredible stay at Live Aqua and can't recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by how the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and cared for. Their warmth and attention to detail truly set the tone for the entire experience.The resort itself is the perfect blend of simplicity and elegance. The design is minimal yet thoughtful, creating a tranquil environment that feels both luxurious and unpretentious. It’s clear a lot of care went into every aspect of the space, from the serene rooms to the well-maintained grounds. What I loved most was the balance between relaxation and fun. Whether I was unwinding by the pool or exploring the nearby activities, there was always something to do without ever feeling rushed or overwhelmed. The resort offers just the right amount of both relaxation and excitement – a true retreat for anyone looking to recharge.Overall, this place is a hidden gem, and I can’t wait to return!

I enjoyed my time at the resort. Room was nice. Got the Tierra suite with butler service. Having had butler service at other resort than this I can say this time I wasn’t as pleased. I barely saw him. The daily messages with the resort plans and activities weren’t always sent. Never had the room decorated or anything special. And at the dining places it took a while to get service and to get water. Had to look for a worker. My opinion is if you have to ask, then that’s no good. The pricing that you pay for these rooms are a lot so the service should match. I loved the entertainment crew and their hard work. That’s what made my stay fun! And the only reason why I’d return. The VIP area of the beach had limited seating. Again, the service there lacked. Other resort I went to in August in same area I had towels brought to me, and drinks and never had to ask anyone for help. They were always available. The pools also have limited space with everyone reserving with towels even if they weren’t there. I am vegan and struggled with the meals. Very limited options. I asked for the chef to make me a simple pasta and believe I got something back with dairy. I ended up getting food edema and my feet really swelled up and were uncomfortable so keep that in mind if you come here and are plant based. I wouldn’t return for that reason alone.
