I am not one to write reviews (good or bad), but I read a lot of misinformation in other reviews, therefore I feel inclined to provide my experience. This property is beautiful! We stayed in the adults only area, with a HUGE room, balcony, hot tub, etc. The room comfort was excellent, very clean, in fact our room was tidied up multiple times a day. The beachfront was beautiful - I know it was mentioned there wasn't a huge "lead up" but that wasn't true. There were free water equipment, and VERY inexpensive add-ons - we went tubing for 15 dollars. Can't beat that! Pools were fun, and spaced so there were lounge pools, then pools with games, and it rotated often, so best for all people. The attention to guest experience was noticeable and wonderful (former hospitality worker here - those things stick out to me). Our butler was Alex, who is THE BEST, BEST, BEST! Very personable, responsive, and considerate.... he surprise decorated the room for our birthday! Very thoughtful. I cannot say enough about his contribution to our trip. It's very comforting to know someone is there to help at any time. The spa was wonderful. We booked 2 massages (over an hour each - deep tissue and lymphatic) and loved it. The only comment I will state is the food is okay. While we didn't have anything "raw" like other reviews commented, the food could use an overhaul. It was manageable, but if it was better, this would be a 10 stars out of 5 property.

We don’t realize when we booked but Majestic Mirage is the nicest of the Majestic resorts. The resort is very nice — not too big to walk everywhere and not too small that there wasn’t enough to do. There were fun activities for adults and children alike (dart throwing competition for adults and circus games and Olympics for kids) but they don’t communicate the best about when those events are so make sure to ask. The resort is very clean and all staff are exceptionally nice and helpful. We will definitely return!

The staff at mirage is fantastic. Our butler, Cesar, was second to none! He texted every morning with daily activities, and to see if we needed anything. Any request was met with an honest desire to help and make our stay memorable.

Our group was 32. Except for the steak house we were all disappointed with the food in the other restaurants. Although the property and its ambiance were nice. No one expressed interest in going back.

Wender our butler was phenomenal! Domingo from the staff was friendly and helpful. Vanessa from the buffet hostess staff was so sweet, accommodating and pleasant every day! Valentin from the steakhouse was also very helpful and courteous. The staff was amazing! We had a wonderful honeymoon! The hotel was beautiful, food was delicious and staff made the experience 5 stars all around! Thank you Majestic Mirage for being the perfect location for our honeymoon! We will be back because we had such a fantastic trip!

All of the staff was Extremely helpful, I cannot say one thing bad about them. I have celiac and Chef Santos made she she over saw every meal made for me to make sure there was no cross contamination and that it was safe for me to eat. I stayed for over a week and not once did I get sick from gluten!! All of the staff, were Extremely pleasant, they remembered us and greated us. Rafi at the tiki bar saw us coming and premade our drinks and the hostesses at the restaurants would recognize us and greet us by name. It was the most remarkable resort experience I have ever had. I will make sure to return, especially after not being concerned over being glutened.

Resort grounds and beach are beautiful. Room was a snowball of issues that were never resolved. Prescription medication and syringes were stolen from our room. Management only responded when I wrote a review on Expedia on our 7th day. Sky view tub would never fill. Wine chiller didn't work. Our room keys had to be reset several times. Bell boy service never came for our bags after requested with front desk. We asked for a small fan to help with heat at night and were told they were all in use. Not a luxury resort experience we would recommend to anyone. Staff standouts - Ana & Frederico at Tiki bar, Luis at #5 swim up bar, ladies in bldg 5 lounge, the young hibachi chef, and Rosemary at La Rinascita. Thank you for being awesome!
