I was there for 4 nights 5 days. The staff were all very friendly. The food was terrible. Everything was salty and the variety wasn’t enough. I ordered room service a few times and that’s where my issue was. First time i ordered the room service i was in my towel on the balcony catching some air. I guess i didn’t hear the door and the gentlemen proceed to enter my room to give me my food. Didn’t think anything of it gave him a tip and said thank you. The second time i ordered room service i left a note on the door saying please bring the food inside i needed to step out really quick to the reception office. As i get back to the room an hour goes by and i thought about my food. I called to see if it was on its way or maybe they were just busy. She proceed so say they knocked and no one answered and they saw the note but couldn’t leave the food in front of the door . Had i known they wouldn’t go into my room with a note being on the door i would’ve waiting for my food before heading to the office. I assumed because the gentleman automatically came in my room the first time WITHOUT permission that they would be able to leave my food in the room while i was gone for 15 minutes. No one did anything when i filed a complaint. Overall the bar by the pool is great. Alfonso and Franklyn are the best bartenders there !

Great property. Lots to do. I definitely would love to try during their high season to experience the difference in activities. I had the best pool bartenders ever. That alone was worth the trip.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, we were greeted and welcomed pleasantly and thru our entire stay the staff always seemed caring and continuously asked if we needed help or services.

Staff was very rude and unfriendly. Drinks at all bars were mediocre, even when bar was empty. Very limited choice for dining, mainly because the restaurants open ~3/7 days a week, which forces you to make some choices for which restaurant to visit. It is also a hassle to make reservations because they open on the same day at 7:30am. If you do not catch a reservation at 7:30, you will likely not fit a large party into the restaurant because it will be full. The restaurant food was good, but it does not compete with other hotels in the same price range when it comes to quality and availability. The spa and sauna were closed when we went, which coincidentally was one of the things we were looking forward to the most. Bad luck I guess. Supposed renovations, but there was no work being done, so I suspect they just close it during the off season. Entertainment was 0-none. Overall it’s okay as a mediocre DR experience, but you can get so much better for the same price range. I wish I would’ve done some more research.
