The property was beautiful, the pools and beach were exceptional. The food was okay. We did have issues with toilets not working and the shower leaking, and our patio door did not lock. The towel situation was a bit frustrating, no hand towels or face cloths, and only one towel per person. Rooms were a bit musty. This resort has the potential to be great and we did enjoy ourselves and don't regret going - but it needs some work to be 5-star. All inclusive drinks were disappointing. Staff also had very limited English.

I love the hotel it was great for my family. My kids loved everything. Food was great! My only complaint is the guy at the checkout. He needs to be more polite. His attitude was horrible towards us, even my kids noticed it.

The property is excellent. The facilities offered a la carte dining at 6 different restaurants that you must reserve to be able to dine at those restaurants. This is one of their selling points. Their reservation system said it was always full not matter how early we tried. Were stuck dining at the general buffet the 3 days we were there. They tried to charge us extra for our kids 1-17 even thought we had already paid to expedia and properly registered the kids with their actual age. I offered to show them their passport to show them that their age was correct. They claimed every person older than 7 pays as an adult. Expedia just requires you to enter the kids age if they are 17 or under which we properly did and paid as such. A manager had to called and made us waste an additional hour unnecessarily. One of our room would not open when we arrived. Instead of coming to the room they had us go to main front office yet wasting another hour from our enjoyment. The front office is far away enough that you need to wait on trolly to get there and back.

check in was unwelcoming and hard to communicate with. I called prior to my trip and was told a party of 30 would be able to get in to restaurant no problem but when I got there they said no and no one said we needed to book restaurants ahead of time so we had to scramble and everyone in our group ate separately. Buffett was so hard to get utensils and drinks and they would not let us sit with family even though an open table was available . room service was awful and un clean. towels stained with blood , bed sheets felt disgusting and damp. entire room was mildew and moldy smelling and unclean . you could see the mold on walls.

Nice facility food was good but the worst resort I’ve ever been a guest, rooms were very uncomfortable the room constantly flooded from the toilet or the shower most of the staff were not friendly and good luck getting any help from the staff or manager with issues other than would you like to change your room for the 5th time

Beautiful grounds and food that was mostly good…very nice rooftop bar and awesome coffee shop with frappes and a hibachi restaurant. The bathrooms were one of the most inconvenient I’ve ever experienced. Also, the room’s phone was never fixed and some staff members were not very friendly/helpful. Overall, a nice, budget-friendly resort, but don’t think I would stay there again.

The place is beautiful and your staff overall great. The people that stand out are Jose & Audelina from the small buffet area by pool. And Pricila & Ivelisse from main buffet area. The only suggestion I have is a microwave in the rooms and better food warmers to keep food hot all the time. This is my second visit there and would recommend to everyone.

My friends and i made 3 separate bookings for our trip and by far this was the worst stay of my life. Collective, we've all been to over 10 countries in the past year and I've never experience such bad service. First off, our room wasn't clean before we got there and we had to sleep over the bed with a blanket since the sheets on the bed and pillows were not swotched from whoeevr stayed there before us. This took over 2 days to get new sheets and pillows... we also had to nag the front desk to do their job multiple times. I actually emailed the resort service multiple weeks in advance to book restaurant reservations and excursions but was ignored after several follow ups. We were not told upon arrival that the only place available to eat was the buffet and everything else had to be reserved. To make matters worse you cant make same day reservarions and you can only reserve up to 2 daya in advance. None of this was told to us. Additionally, we didn't know that there would be individuals selling itema inside the hotel properly, who posses a harrasing sales attitude. I understand that they could be on the beach but a heads about several being inside the resort would have been nice. Also, you do not get new towels every day as it is customary when the cleaning crew comes to housekeeping daily. As for pool towels, you can only grab one daily and there is literally only 1 spot to get them from in the whole resort. The buffet staff is rude and highly unprofessional.

My family and I absolutely loved our stay here. The staff was so friendly and attentive. The resort offers daily activities for all ages and they also have shows at the theater every night. The staff at the kids club were amazing with my daughter, and my teenagers who are not so easily amused or pleased loved playing at the teens club. The only thing I would say to be aware of is the timeshare company that is located there trying to lure people into buying into their “vacation plan”. They asked for 60 min of our time and ended up wasting 3 hours of our day. Overall, thank you to all the kind staff at Tropical Deluxe Princess for sharing your beautiful island with us and giving us an amazing and memorable experience. We will see you all again for sure!

This property has a great set up. The beach was beautiful and the pools were large and had enough loungers and umbrellas for everyone. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant. We will definitely return.
